The 2025 Lexus RX stands out as a luxury SUV that puts comfort, refinement, and reliability ahead of flashier ambitions. It is aimed at you if you value ease of use over outright sportiness, and it also benefits from Lexus’s strong resale values, which helps soften the sting of its higher used-market pricing compared with some rivals.

For shoppers who want a refined, reliable luxury SUV with strong safety equipment, good fuel economy in hybrid form, and a wide range of powertrain choices, the 2025 Lexus RX remains an especially compelling option. 30.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Lexus RX reliable?

The 2025 Lexus RX stands out as a luxury SUV that puts comfort, refinement, and reliability ahead of flashier ambitions. Lexus has long positioned the RX as a mainstream luxury choice, and this latest version continues that formula with a strong reputation for comfort and a design that is meant to appeal to buyers who value ease of use over outright sportiness.

For used buyers, that reputation matters because it points to a lower-risk long-term ownership experience than many luxury alternatives. If you want a premium SUV that is more likely to feel reassuring over time, this model fits that brief well.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Lexus RX?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 30.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 242 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.89% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $59,356 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Lexus RX's resale value?

The current average of $59,443 CAD sits slightly below last year's $68,241 CAD.

That drop suggests the RX is currently more affordable to buy than it was a year ago, which can help you enter the market at a better price point. For a future seller, the same trend means there may be less upside if prices stay near today’s level. Even so, Lexus’s strong resale reputation should help support values better than many rivals over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Lexus RX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 30.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.89% compared with last year.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $53,852 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $59,443 CAD average.
• It emphasises comfort and efficiency.

The bottom line: choose the 2025 if you want the newer model-year pricing context and a broader current-market selection. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2024 is the better value path because it costs less while still leaning into the RX’s core strengths.
