Used 2025 Lexus RX Hybrid for Sale nearConception Bay South, NL

How much does the 2025 Lexus RX Hybrid cost?

Prices have softened 10.41% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 106 listings available, which suggests you have some room to compare examples before you buy.

Is the 2025 Lexus RX Hybrid a good car?

The 2025 Lexus RX Hybrid earns a 6.5/10 expert rating, and it is built around comfort, refinement, and flexibility rather than driving excitement.

The model scores 7/10 across Performance, Cost effectiveness, and Technology.

It offers hybrid, performance hybrid, and plug-in hybrid powertrain choices, plus premium interior materials and impressive technology. The trade-offs are that its design may be polarising and it lacks dynamic communication, while the steering wheel controls can be distracting.

That mix makes it a strong fit if you want a plush, quiet luxury SUV with broad powertrain choice, and the market shows 29.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

Is the 2025 Lexus RX Hybrid reliable?

The 2025 Lexus RX Hybrid leans on a reputation for reliability, and the expert assessment reinforces that it is a sensible long-term ownership proposition for a luxury hybrid SUV.

Its hybrid system is presented as efficient and well suited to buyers who want lower running costs, and the cost-effectiveness commentary also points to Lexus’s long-standing reliability reputation. The RX 350h is singled out as the lower-price, better-fuel-economy choice, which supports the idea that the model is built for practical ownership as much as luxury.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about the powertrain concept and more about choosing the right version and condition, since the more complex trims and equipment can add ownership complexity.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Lexus RX Hybrid?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The RX 350h is the base model, while the RX 500h is the wild child and the RX 450h+ is the plug-in hybrid. The RX 350h offers Premium, F Sport Design, Luxury, Ultra Luxury, and Executive packages, while the RX 500h adds F Sport Performance 2, F Sport Performance 3, and F Sport Black Line packages. The RX 450h+ is available exclusively with the Executive package. The base model is the best-value starting point if you want the broadest choice of packages.
• Powertrain: The RX 350h uses a 2.5-litre four-cylinder hybrid setup with 246 hp and 233 pound-feet of torque. The RX 450h+ PHEV uses the same gas engine with a larger battery pack and a more powerful electric drive motor for 304 hp and a 6.5-second 0-100 km/h time. The RX 500h uses a turbocharged 2.4-litre four-cylinder engine, a six-speed automatic, 366 hp, and 406 lb-ft of torque.
• Safety package: Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 is standard and includes forward collision warning with intersection assist, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centring assist, and adaptive cruise control. Every RX Hybrid also comes standard with blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert. Proactive Driving Assist is part of the suite as well.
• Infotainment: The RX 500h model features a 14-inch touchscreen display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, SiriusXM satellite radio, cloud-based navigation through Drive Connect, and a complimentary three-year Drive Connect plan. The Canadian RX 500h uses a 7-inch F Sport digital cluster instead of the 12.3-inch digital instrumentation panel shown in the U.S.-spec test unit.
• Fuel efficiency: The RX 350h is rated at 6.5 L/100 km combined, the RX 450h+ is rated at 6.7 L/100 km combined after its electric-only range is used up, and the RX 500h is rated at 8.6 L/100 km combined. In testing, the RX 500h averaged 13.5 L/100 km.

Which 2025 Lexus RX Hybrid trim should I buy?

The 2025 Lexus RX Hybrid is offered in 3 trim levels: RX 350h, RX 500h, RX 450h+.

Here's the short version:

• RX 350h: This is the best-value choice if you want the broadest trim and package selection, the strongest efficiency, and the most approachable starting point in the lineup.
• RX 500h: Choose this if you want the most powerful RX Hybrid, the sport-tuned suspension, standard 21-inch wheels, Direct4 AWD, performance brakes, and rear-wheel steering.
• RX 450h+: Pick this if you want the plug-in hybrid powertrain and the Executive package, but it sits close to the top of the price range.

The available surround-view camera is a worthwhile safety upgrade, and it should be standard on the more expensive versions.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Lexus RX Hybrid?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 29.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 106 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.41% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $67,197 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Lexus RX Hybrid's resale value?

The current average of $70,664 CAD sits slightly below last year's $78,871 CAD.

That price movement suggests the RX Hybrid has become more accessible for used buyers than it was a year ago. For a future seller, that means you may face more competition if you try to resell quickly, especially if your vehicle is priced above the current market average.

The good news is that the RX Hybrid still benefits from Lexus brand strength, a reputation for reliability, and broad buyer appeal. If you keep mileage reasonable and the vehicle is well maintained, it should remain easier to position than many luxury SUVs.

Is the 2025 Lexus RX Hybrid safe?

The 2025 Lexus RX Hybrid earns an overall five-star rating from NHTSA, but the IIHS gives it a Poor rating for occupant protection in its updated moderate overlap frontal-impact test.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 is standard and includes forward collision warning with intersection assist, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centring assist, and adaptive cruise control. Every RX Hybrid also comes standard with blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert. Proactive Driving Assist is part of the suite as well.

A surround-view camera is available and is strongly recommended, especially on higher trims. The main safety caveat is the Poor IIHS result, which is worth weighing carefully if crash-test performance is a priority for you.

Should I buy a 2025 Lexus RX Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 29.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.41% compared with last year.
• It gives you hybrid, performance hybrid, and plug-in hybrid choices in a comfort-focused luxury SUV.

Consider the 2026 if:

• The RX 500h F Sport Performance adds more power while improving fuel economy.

The bottom line: If you want the broader choice of powertrains and a softer used-market price, the 2025 is the safer buy. If you are focused on the newest performance-oriented RX Hybrid setup, the 2026 is the better path, but price-sensitive buyers should still keep the 2025 on their shortlist.
