Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Lexus RX Hybrid?

It looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage but should still move quickly on the best listings.

• Deal availability: 27.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 120 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.54% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $61,350 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Lexus RX Hybrid's resale value?

The current average of $61,877 CAD sits slightly below last year's $65,503 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy more carefully now, but it also means future resale may depend more on condition, mileage, and equipment. If the market stays selective, well-kept examples should hold up better than average listings. Strong pricing discipline today can also help you avoid overpaying for a vehicle that may not rebound quickly.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Lexus RX Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 27.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.54% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $56,610 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $61,877 CAD average.
• The hybrid lineup is broader, with three electrified variants to choose from.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $69,775 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $61,877 CAD average.
• It adds hybrid, performance hybrid, and plug-in hybrid choices with premium materials.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the best all-around pick if you want a strong satisfaction rating and a market that has eased a bit from last year. If price is your main priority, the 2023 is the smarter value play, while the 2025 makes sense if you want to spend more for a broader powertrain range.
