Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Lexus RX Hybrid?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 35.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 65 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.62% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $47,447 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Lexus RX Hybrid's resale value?

The current average of $47,453 CAD sits slightly below last year's $48,732 CAD.

That softer pricing can work in your favour if you're buying now, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited unless market demand strengthens. If you plan to sell later, the current trend suggests you should expect value to hold reasonably well rather than surge. Strong owner satisfaction can help support demand when it's time to trade in or list privately.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Lexus RX Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 35.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.62% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $55,523 CAD, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $47,453 CAD average.
• The 2023 adds three electrified RX variants, giving you a broader hybrid lineup.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2022 if you want the better value and a strong satisfaction profile. If you want more hybrid variety and are willing to pay more, the 2023 is the better upgrade path; if price matters most, the 2022 is the smarter buy.
