Used 2025 Kia Telluride for Sale nearOttawa, ON

How much does the 2025 Kia Telluride cost?

Prices have softened 11.77% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 104 listings available, which suggests a modest amount of inventory for shoppers to compare.

Is the 2025 Kia Telluride a good car?

Generally — the 2025 Kia Telluride earns a 4/5 user rating and an 8.17/10 expert rating, which supports its reputation as a strong three-row family SUV. The standout strength is Form and function at 10/10.

It stands out as a stylish, comfortable three-row SUV that still feels highly relevant, and it remains well suited to real-world family travel, including highway driving, city use, and rougher trails. The trade-offs are clear: the technology feels outdated, and the lane-assist system can be irritating. Sticky brakes in thick traffic are another drawback.

The market also looks reasonably healthy, with 31.7% of listings marked as good or great deals.

Is the 2025 Kia Telluride reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Telluride’s strong reputation, great safety ratings, and proven family-hauling ability all point to a vehicle that should continue to serve used buyers well. Its smooth V6 powertrain and standard AWD add to the sense of durability and everyday confidence, while the expert road-trip testing showed it can handle long-distance use with ease.

Kia’s five-year/100,000-kilometre new-car warranty and five-year/unlimited-kilometre roadside assistance also support ownership confidence. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that ageing technology and driver-assist quirks may feel more frustrating as the vehicle ages.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Kia Telluride?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The EX is the base trim, while the SX, SX Limited, X-Line, and X-Pro add more equipment and character. The lower trim’s cabin is still appealing, but the material quality in the lower portions of the interior shows where Kia saves money.
• Powertrain: Every Telluride uses a 3.8-litre V6 with 291 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic and standard AWD. It is smooth and refined, but the powertrain can seem a little confused in Smart mode.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward collision warning, pedestrian and cyclist detection, intersection assistance when turning left across traffic, automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, lane centring assist, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, rear occupant alert, safe exit assist, and Highway Driving Assist. Higher trims add lane-change assist, and most trims also get Blind Spot View Monitor, reverse automatic braking, front cross-traffic alert with automatic braking, oncoming collision avoidance, and lane-change collision avoidance.
• Infotainment: In all Canadian trims but the base EX, you get a 12.3-inch digital driver display beside a 12.3-inch touchscreen under one piece of glass. Wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto are not included, and the system uses a USB-A data port.
• Fuel efficiency: The V6 returned 11.6 L/100 km in testing, which aligns closely with the Natural Resources Canada combined rating of 11.7 L/100 km.

Which 2025 Kia Telluride trim should I buy?

The 2025 Kia Telluride is offered in 5 trim levels: EX, SX, SX Limited, X-Line, and X-Pro.

Here's the short version:

• EX: This is the entry point, and it gives you the Telluride’s core strengths at the lowest price. It suits you if you want the model’s space, comfort, and standard AWD without chasing extra luxury or off-road hardware.
• SX: This trim adds more equipment and is a sensible step up if you want a richer feature set without going all the way to the top end.
• SX Limited: This is the best-value choice if you want the most upscale cabin experience and the larger display setup without moving into the more specialised trims.
• X-Line: Choose this if you want the added ground clearance, improved approach and departure angles, self-levelling rear suspension, and blacked-out styling. It is the better pick than the X-Pro for most buyers.
• X-Pro: This is the most capable version, with 18-inch wheels on all-terrain tires and a towing capacity of 2,500 kilograms. It suits you best if you expect to spend meaningful time off-road or towing.

The X-Line and X-Pro versions also provide 21.3 cm of ground clearance, and the X-Pro adds the most comprehensive standard equipment and off-roading capability.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Kia Telluride?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market.

• Deal availability: 31.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 104 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.77% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $51,756 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Kia Telluride's resale value?

The current average of $53,184 CAD sits slightly below last year's $60,279 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you as a buyer today, but it also means a future seller may need to be realistic about expectations if the market stays loose. The Telluride’s strong reputation and broad appeal should help support demand, especially for well-equipped examples in desirable trims. Even so, the current trend suggests there is some room for depreciation pressure if you buy near the top of the range.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Kia Telluride safe?

The 2025 Kia Telluride earns a five-star overall rating in crash tests performed by the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and a Top Safety Pick+ rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes forward collision warning, pedestrian and cyclist detection, intersection assistance when turning left across traffic, automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, lane centring assist, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, rear occupant alert, safe exit assist, and Highway Driving Assist. Higher trims add lane-change assist, and most trims also get Blind Spot View Monitor, reverse automatic braking, front cross-traffic alert with automatic braking, oncoming collision avoidance, and lane-change collision avoidance.

The main caveat is the lane-centring system, which can be irritating on curves and may feel overly argumentative in some driving situations.

Should I buy a 2025 Kia Telluride or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 31.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.77% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• The 2025 brings strong safety credentials and a proven road-trip-friendly setup.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $47,586 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $53,184 CAD average.
• It remains stylish, safe, roomy, rugged, and practical.

The bottom line: If you want the newer model-year pricing trend, the 2025 is the better target. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2024 is the smarter value play and still delivers the Telluride’s core strengths.
