Used 2025 Kia Telluride for Sale nearSmiths Falls, ON

How much does the 2025 Kia Telluride cost?

Prices have softened 11.84% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 107 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable range of choices.

Is the 2025 Kia Telluride a good car?

Generally — the 2025 Kia Telluride earns 4/5 from users and 8.2/10 from our experts. The standout strength is Form and function at 10/10.

It stands out as a stylish, comfortable three-row SUV that still feels highly relevant, especially if you want genuine people-moving ability in a midsize package. In testing, it proved capable on a nearly 2,000-kilometre road trip and handled highway driving, city use, and rougher trails with ease.

The trade-offs are clear: the technology feels outdated, and the lane-assist system can be irritating. Sticky brakes in thick traffic are another drawback.

With 36.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Kia Telluride reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Telluride’s reputation is reinforced by its strong safety ratings and its history of being well received for comfort and capability. Its 3.8-litre V6 is described as smooth, refined, and amply powered, which is a good sign for everyday durability and confidence on long drives.

Kia’s five-year/100,000-kilometre new vehicle warranty and five-year/unlimited-kilometre roadside assistance also help reduce early ownership worry. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is more about ageing technology and driver-assist annoyance than core mechanical weakness.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Kia Telluride?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The EX, SX, SX Limited, X-Line, and X-Pro each bring different equipment and character. The base EX is the one to watch for feature gaps, while the X-Line and X-Pro add more rugged hardware and a more distinctive look.
• Powertrain: Every trim uses a 3.8-litre V6 with 291 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic and standard AWD. It is smooth and well suited to highway travel, though the powertrain can seem a little confused at times.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward collision warning, pedestrian and cyclist detection, intersection assistance when turning left across traffic, automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, lane centring assist, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, rear occupant alert, and safe exit assist. Highway Driving Assist is standard on every trim, and higher trims add lane-change assist. Most trims also have Blind Spot View Monitor, reverse automatic braking, front cross-traffic alert with automatic braking, oncoming collision avoidance, and lane-change collision avoidance.
• Infotainment: In all Canadian trims but the base EX, you get a 12.3-inch digital driver display beside a 12.3-inch touchscreen under one piece of glass. Wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto are not included, and the system uses a USB-A data port.
• Fuel efficiency: The road test returned 11.6 L/100 km, and Natural Resources Canada rates it at 11.7 L/100 km in combined driving.

Which 2025 Kia Telluride trim should I buy?

The 2025 Kia Telluride is offered in 5 trim levels: EX, SX, SX Limited, X-Line, and X-Pro.

Here's the short version:

• EX: This is the entry point, but it is also the trim where you miss out on the larger 12.3-inch digital driver display and the matching 12.3-inch touchscreen setup found higher up the range.
• SX: This is the trim to target if you want a stronger balance of equipment and value, since it adds more of the desirable tech and comfort features without pushing into the most expensive versions.
• SX Limited: This is the better choice if you want the more upscale cabin presentation, including the richer interior materials and the 10-inch head-up display.
• X-Line: Choose this if you want the more rugged look and the added ground clearance, improved approach and departure angles, and self-levelling rear suspension.
• X-Pro: This is the most capability-focused version, with 18-inch wheels on all-terrain tires and the highest towing capacity, but it makes the most sense if you actually plan to use that extra off-pavement ability.

The safety package is strongest on higher trims, where you get the added lane-change assist function and more of the camera-based driver-assistance features.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Kia Telluride?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 36.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 107 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.84% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $51,752 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Kia Telluride's resale value?

The current average of $52,514 CAD sits slightly below last year's $59,566 CAD.

That softer pricing can work in your favour if you are buying now, but it also means future sellers may need to be realistic about where the market has settled. If prices stabilise, a well-kept Telluride should remain appealing because it combines strong family utility with broad market recognition.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Kia Telluride safe?

The 2025 Kia Telluride earns a five-star overall rating in crash tests performed by the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), and it earns a Top Safety Pick+ rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes forward collision warning, pedestrian and cyclist detection, intersection assistance when turning left across traffic, automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, lane centring assist, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, rear occupant alert, and safe exit assist. Highway Driving Assist is standard on every trim, and higher trims add lane-change assist.

One caveat is the lane-centring assist system, which can be argumentative enough to cause erratic driving on curves. That is worth testing carefully on your own commute before you buy.

Should I buy a 2025 Kia Telluride or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 36.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.84% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• It delivered strong long-distance capability on a nearly 2,000-kilometre road trip.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $46,460 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $52,514 CAD average.
• It is stylish, safe, roomy, rugged, and packed with surprise-and-delight details.

The 2025 is the better pick if you want the latest version of this proven formula and are comfortable paying a bit more for it. If your priority is value, the 2024 is the smarter route because it delivers much of the same appeal for less money.

How does the 2025 Kia Telluride compare to the 2025 Hyundai Palisade?

Our experts score the 2025 Kia Telluride 8.2/10 and the 2025 Hyundai Palisade 9/10. The Telluride is the stronger value on the used market, with a lower average used price and a higher share of good or great deals. The Palisade has the edge in expert scoring and broader inventory, so it may give you more choice if you are shopping for a specific configuration.
