Is the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. It stands out by blending everyday SUV usability with the off-road capability Jeep is known for, while still offering standard four-wheel drive in Canada and several 4WD systems to suit different needs. You also get a luxury-leaning design, with higher trims adding features such as Active Driving Assist, fine leather, and a front passenger entertainment screen. 32.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2025 Grand Cherokee is still fairly new, which can help it feel modern and well kept in the used market. Its standard V6 and available 4xe setup give you a broad range of choices, and the model’s current-generation design means you are shopping a vehicle that has not been on the road for long. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is paying a premium for a newer SUV that may still depreciate faster than older, more established alternatives.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the right listing.

• Deal availability: 32.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 388 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.71% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $55,751 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee's resale value?

The current average of $55,751 CAD sits slightly below last year's $63,866 CAD.

That softer pricing can be a mixed signal for future resale: it may help you buy at a better entry point now, but it also means there is less room for the vehicle to hold value if the market keeps easing. On the other hand, the Grand Cherokee’s broad appeal, standard four-wheel drive in Canada, and upscale positioning can help support demand when you eventually sell. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 32.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.71% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2026 if:

• You want the refreshed turbocharged four-cylinder and updated styling.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the better primary choice if you want a proven, well-liked Grand Cherokee with softer pricing and decent deal availability. If you are more focused on the newest updates than on value, the 2026 is the better secondary path.
