Used 2025 Hyundai Palisade for Sale nearElmira, ON

How much does the 2025 Hyundai Palisade cost?

Prices have softened 16.00% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 414 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable selection to compare.

Is the 2025 Hyundai Palisade a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Hyundai Palisade earns a 5/5 user rating and a 9/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Form and function at 10/10.

It fits the family-oriented, three-row SUV brief especially well, with a roomy cabin, thoughtful packaging, and an upscale feel that helps it stand out in the midsize class. It also remains appealing even as the current generation nears the end of its run, which matters if you want a well-rounded SUV that still feels competitive.

31.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so there are still some attractive opportunities in the market.

Is the 2025 Hyundai Palisade reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Palisade’s overall package points to solid dependability for used buyers: it has a strong warranty, a refined V6 powertrain, and a design that has aged well rather than feeling outdated. Its powertrain is described as smooth and refined in operation, and the transmission delivers silky shifts, which is the kind of behaviour that usually ages well in everyday use.

It also comes with a five-year/100,000-kilometre standard and powertrain warranty with roadside assistance, plus three years of Bluelink connected services for Canadian owners. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that a higher-mileage example may reflect the model’s age more than its strengths, so condition and maintenance history matter.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Hyundai Palisade?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base Preferred trim already has a clean, modern, uplevel look and feel, while the most expensive versions add premium leather, metal speaker grilles, and other luxury cues. If you want the most upscale cabin, the higher trims are the ones to target.
• Powertrain: Every Palisade uses a 3.8-litre V6 with 291 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic and standard all-wheel drive in Canada. It is smooth and refined, but it is not especially fuel-efficient.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, intersection turning assist, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, and Highway Driving Assist. The Urban trim adds front parking sensors, a surround-view camera, and Blind Spot View Monitor, while Ultimate Calligraphy adds evasive steering assist, lane-change assist functions, automatic braking when parking, and Remote Smart Parking Assist.
• Infotainment: You get a 12.3-inch digital driver display and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto require a cable, so wireless smartphone integration is not part of the setup.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada says it averages 11.1 L/100 km in combined driving, and testing returned 13.9 L/100 km in city driving and 11.9 L/100 km overall.

Which 2025 Hyundai Palisade trim should I buy?

The 2025 Hyundai Palisade is offered in 4 trim levels: Preferred, Urban, Ultimate Calligraphy, and Ultimate Calligraphy Night Edition.

Here's the short version:

• Preferred: This is the entry point, but it still delivers the Palisade’s clean, modern, upscale feel and the core family-friendly packaging that makes the SUV appealing. It makes sense if you want the Palisade experience without chasing luxury extras.
• Urban: This is the best-value trim if you want meaningful upgrades, because it adds front parking sensors, a surround-view camera, and Blind Spot View Monitor. Those features make it easier to live with in tight city parking and are a smart step up.
• Ultimate Calligraphy: This is the most luxurious version in the lineup, with premium leather, metal speaker grilles, evasive steering assist, lane-change assist functions, automatic braking when parking, and Remote Smart Parking Assist. Choose it if you want the most upscale and feature-rich Palisade.
• Ultimate Calligraphy Night Edition: This trim is part of the top-end lineup and gives you the same premium positioning with a darker appearance treatment.

The Urban trim is the best-value pick for most shoppers, while the Ultimate Calligraphy trim is the one to choose if you want the full luxury-and-tech experience. The Urban trim is also the starting point for Blind Spot View Monitor, and Ultimate Calligraphy adds the most advanced parking and lane-change features.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Hyundai Palisade?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory to shop carefully and enough price softness to create opportunities.

• Deal availability: 31.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 414 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.00% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $48,033 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Hyundai Palisade's resale value?

The current average of $48,033 CAD sits slightly below last year's $57,185 CAD.

That price drop suggests the market has become more favourable for buyers, but it also means a future seller may need to be realistic about pricing. Since the model is in its final year before a redesign, some shoppers may prefer to wait for the newer version, which can put pressure on resale values for this generation.

Even so, the Palisade’s strong value story, roomy packaging, and upscale feel help it stay relevant in the used market. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Hyundai Palisade safe?

The 2025 Hyundai Palisade earns a Top Safety Pick from IIHS through 2024, but a Poor result in the moderate overlap frontal-impact test prevented that accolade in 2025.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Hyundai equips it with Highway Driving Assist, which pairs adaptive cruise control with lane-centring assist, plus forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, intersection turning assist, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, and an ultrasonic rear occupant alert system. The Urban trim adds front parking sensors, a surround-view camera, and Blind Spot View Monitor, while Ultimate Calligraphy adds evasive steering assist, lane-change assist functions, automatic braking when parking, and Remote Smart Parking Assist.

The main caveat is the updated IIHS frontal-impact result, which is worth keeping in mind if crash-test performance is a top priority for you.

Should I buy a 2025 Hyundai Palisade or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 31.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.00% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2025 is the last year of the current generation, but it still offers strong value and a well-rounded family-SUV package.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $42,933 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $48,033 CAD average.
• It is roomy for people and cargo.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It is a redesigned three-row SUV with multiple powertrain options and a better ride.

The bottom line: If you want the current-generation Palisade and can find a strong deal, the 2025 is still a smart buy. If your priority is lower upfront cost, the 2024 is the value play; if you want the newest design and can stretch your budget, the 2026 is the upgrade path.
