Used 2025 Hyundai Kona Electric for Sale near Westbridge, BC

How much does the 2025 Hyundai Kona Electric cost?

Prices have softened 10.72% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 65 listings available, which suggests a decent amount of inventory for you to compare.

Is the 2025 Hyundai Kona Electric a good car?

The 2025 Hyundai Kona Electric earns an 8.3/10 expert rating and is positioned as a value-focused electric crossover with fresh styling, a long list of features, and a comfortable, competent driving experience.

The model scores 9/10 across Cost effectiveness, Technology, and Safety.

It suits you well if you want an EV that keeps the price in check while still feeling well equipped and easy to live with. The trade-offs are clear: performance is fairly pedestrian, and all-wheel drive is not available.

Only 27.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the market is somewhat selective even if the model’s value case is strong.

Is the 2025 Hyundai Kona Electric reliable?

The 2025 Hyundai Kona Electric is presented as a sensible, comfort-oriented EV with a strong warranty and a straightforward ownership proposition. Its battery-electric setup is described as competent for commuting, with a quiet cabin, a comfortable ride, and regenerative braking that can be tuned for one-pedal driving.

The battery and electric-drive components are covered for eight years or 160,000 kilometres, which helps reduce long-term ownership risk for used buyers. It also has battery pre-conditioning, which is useful for more consistent DC fast-charging performance in colder conditions or before a charging stop.

For used ownership, your biggest risk is less about outright mechanical complexity and more about how the battery and charging system have been treated over time, so you should still check charging habits and battery health carefully.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Hyundai Kona Electric?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: In Canada, the sole trim level is Preferred, while Trend, Ultimate, and N Line Ultimate packages are available. The base setup includes standard advanced safety features, while the higher packages add equipment such as leatherette seating, wireless device charging, a surround-view camera system, parking alerts, Remote Smart Parking Assist, and Blind View Monitor.
• Powertrain: You get front-wheel drive only, a 64.8-kWh battery pack, 201 hp, and 291 lb-ft of torque. Range is up to 420 kilometres, though the N Line Ultimate package drops to 370 kilometres because of its larger wheels.
• Safety package: Every version includes automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control with stop and go, safe exit warning, a driver attention monitor, and Highway Driving Assist. The Ultimate and N Line Ultimate packages add parking aids, a surround-view camera system, Remote Smart Parking Assist, and Blind View Monitor.
• Infotainment: Every Kona Electric gets dual 12.3-inch displays, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and native navigation with charging-aware route planning.
• Range & charging: You get up to 420 kilometres of range, a 64.8-kWh battery, and DC fast-charging that takes more than 40 minutes from 10% to 80%. Home charging with the 11-kW onboard charger should take about five to six hours.
• Battery health: For a used EV, you should check battery state-of-health, confirm whether the car has mostly been charged at home or relied heavily on DC fast charging, and verify how much of the battery warranty remains. A healthy charging history matters more than odometer reading alone.

Which 2025 Hyundai Kona Electric trim should I buy?

The 2025 Hyundai Kona Electric is offered in 4 trim levels: Preferred, Trend, Ultimate, and N Line Ultimate.

Here's the short version:

• Preferred: This is the value play if you want the Kona Electric’s core strengths without paying for extras. You still get the standard safety suite, dual 12.3-inch displays, wireless smartphone integration, and the full EV package, so it makes the strongest case for most shoppers.
• Trend: This is the trim to consider if you want a nicer cabin feel, since it adds leatherette seating and builds on the standard equipment without pushing the price as far as the upper packages.
• Ultimate: This is the best-value upgrade if you want more convenience and parking tech, including wireless device charging, a surround-view camera system, parking alerts, Remote Smart Parking Assist, and Blind View Monitor.
• N Line Ultimate: Choose this only if you want the sportier appearance package with special 19-inch wheels, unique front and rear fasciae, and an exclusive bumper with a diffuser. It also comes with a reduced driving range.

Every version includes the standard driver-assistance suite, while the Ultimate and N Line Ultimate packages add the extra parking and visibility features.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Hyundai Kona Electric?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully rather than rush.

• Deal availability: 27.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 65 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.72% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $36,931 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Hyundai Kona Electric's resale value?

The current average of $36,931 CAD sits slightly below last year's $41,366 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Kona Electric has become more accessible for used buyers, which can help you get into the model at a better entry point. For a future seller, though, it also means you should expect a softer resale environment than last year’s market. If you buy well now, you may be better protected against further depreciation than someone who paid closer to the prior-year average.

Is the 2025 Hyundai Kona Electric safe?

The 2025 Hyundai Kona Electric does not have a published IIHS or NHTSA crash-test result in the source data, so there is no crash-test lead to cite here.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Hyundai equips every trim with a strong standard driver-assistance suite that includes automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control with stop and go, safe exit warning, a driver attention monitor, and Highway Driving Assist. If you want more parking help, the Ultimate and N Line Ultimate packages add a surround-view camera system, parking alerts, Remote Smart Parking Assist, and Blind View Monitor.

Should I buy a 2025 Hyundai Kona Electric or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 27.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.72% compared with last year.
• It appeals to you as a value-focused EV with fresh styling, a long list of features, and a comfortable, competent driving character.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of value, features, and current market pricing, the 2025 is the one to target. If you’re especially price-sensitive, keep shopping the market closely and focus on listings near the low end of the range.
