Used 2025 Honda Pilot for Sale near Newfoundland and Labrador

How much does the 2025 Honda Pilot cost?

Prices have softened 12.14% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 161 listings available, which suggests a modest amount of inventory for shoppers to compare.

Is the 2025 Honda Pilot a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Honda Pilot earns a 4.91/5 user rating and a 6.5/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Form and function at 9/10.

Drivers consistently praise the smooth ride, spacious interior, plenty of cargo space, comfortable seating, and the reassuring sense of security that comes with the safety ratings. The Pilot also fits well if you want a roomy three-row SUV that is easy to live with and practical for daily driving.

The trade-offs are that the dash screen could be larger, lower trims could use more luxury features, and the technology feels dated. Honda’s straightforward approach suits you best if you value space, usability, and a simple ownership experience over flash.

With 28.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is a decent amount of market flexibility for shoppers who are patient.

Is the 2025 Honda Pilot reliable?

Owners rate it 4.91/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience, with drivers repeatedly highlighting the Pilot’s comfortable ride, spacious cabin, and confidence-inspiring day-to-day usability. That kind of feedback suggests you can count on it as a family vehicle over the long term.

The expert evaluation also supports that impression by describing the Pilot as easy to live with and practical for daily driving. Honda’s warranty coverage is average, so your long-term ownership risk is more about accepting the model’s ordinary coverage than worrying about a weak reliability reputation.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Honda Pilot?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Sport is affordable but does not have many appealing amenities, so you should consider the leather-lined EX-L at a minimum. The TrailSport adds off-roading capability, while the Black Edition brings blacked-out exterior trim, black wheels, black badges, black leather seats, red perforation accents, red contrast stitching, and red ambient lighting.
• Powertrain: Every Pilot uses a 3.5-litre V6 with a 10-speed automatic transmission, making 285 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque. In Canada, every version also gets i-VTM4 all-wheel drive, hill descent control, torque vectoring, and up to 18.5 centimetres of ground clearance, with 21 centimetres in the TrailSport.
• Safety package: Every version includes Honda Sensing with forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, lane-centring assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control. Parking sensors and a multi-view camera system were fitted to the test vehicle.
• Infotainment: The Black Edition has a 10.2-inch digital gauge panel and a 9-inch touchscreen, plus wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, SiriusXM satellite radio, text-messaging support, wireless smartphone charging, navigation, HondaLink subscription services, Wi-Fi access, and a 12-speaker Bose audio system.
• Fuel efficiency: Fuel economy is unimpressive, especially in city-heavy driving, where the Pilot used 15.9 litres per 100 kilometres. On the evaluation loop, it averaged 14.1 L/100 km, versus the official Natural Resources Canada combined rating of 11.2 L/100 km.

Which 2025 Honda Pilot trim should I buy?

The 2025 Honda Pilot is offered in 5 trim levels: Sport, EX-L, TrailSport, Touring, and Black Edition.

Here's the short version:

• Sport: This is the entry point, but it is light on appealing amenities, so it makes sense mainly if you want the lowest-priced way into the Pilot lineup.
• EX-L: This is the best-value trim because it adds the leather-lined feel that makes the Pilot more appealing without pushing you into the pricier upper models.
• TrailSport: Choose this if you want the Pilot’s added off-roading capability and the extra ground clearance that comes with it.
• Touring: This trim suits you if you want a more upscale Pilot and are willing to pay for more equipment.
• Black Edition: This is the style-focused top trim, with blacked-out exterior details, red interior accents, and the most distinctive look in the lineup.

Honda’s safety package is standard across the range, so you do not need to move up a trim just to get the core Honda Sensing features.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Honda Pilot?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory to compare options but still enough demand to reward quick action on well-priced listings.

• Deal availability: 28.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 161 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.14% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $55,281 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Honda Pilot's resale value?

The current average of $55,281 CAD sits slightly below last year's $62,922 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you as a buyer today, but it also means future sellers may face a more competitive resale environment if the market stays loose. The Pilot’s broad appeal, practical layout, and strong owner satisfaction should help support demand, especially among shoppers who want a dependable three-row SUV.

Because the model is still well liked and widely useful, resale should remain steadier than you might expect for a vehicle with softer current pricing. Still, the current trend suggests you should not expect a quick appreciation story if you plan to sell later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.91/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Honda Pilot safe?

The 2025 Honda Pilot earns a Top Safety Pick+ rating from the IIHS and a five-star overall rating from NHTSA.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

Honda Sensing is standard on every version and includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, lane-centring assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control. The test vehicle also had parking sensors and a multi-view camera system.

There are some caveats worth noting. The adaptive cruise control showed awkward behaviour in traffic, the lane-centring assist dulled the steering feel, and the road sign recognition system sometimes displayed inaccurate information. Even so, the Pilot’s crash-test results and standard safety equipment make it a strong family-hauling choice.

Should I buy a 2025 Honda Pilot or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 28.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.14% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.91/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• Honda keeps the formula simple with a single powertrain and standard all-wheel drive.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It brings a more truck-like look while keeping the Pilot’s familiar formula.

The bottom line: Choose the 2025 if you want the better current pricing and a proven, easy-to-live-with three-row SUV. If you are mainly shopping on value, the softer market and strong owner satisfaction make this year especially appealing. If you prefer the freshest styling and can wait, the 2026 is the alternative to watch.
