Is the 2025 Honda Passport a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for the 2025 Honda Passport. It stands out as a two-row midsize SUV that blends everyday practicality with a more adventurous personality than many rivals, and it should suit you well if you do not need a third row but want more space and capability than a compact crossover. It also offers a comfortable ride, generous cargo space, and Honda’s reputation for reliability, while remaining easier to manoeuvre than the larger Pilot. With 27.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Honda Passport reliable?

The 2025 Honda Passport is described as a practical SUV with Honda’s reputation for reliability, plus a proven V6 and straightforward everyday usability. Its comfortable ride, useful standard equipment, and spacious cabin all point to a vehicle built for regular family use rather than novelty. For used buyers, that usually means lower ownership anxiety if the vehicle has been maintained properly.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Honda Passport?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 27.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 102 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.10% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $48,048 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Honda Passport's resale value?

The current average of $48,527 CAD sits slightly below last year's $54,586 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy in at a more favourable point, but it also means a future seller may need to be realistic about expectations. If the market stays near today’s level, resale values should remain anchored by the Passport’s practical layout and broad appeal. A well-kept example with desirable equipment should still attract attention from shoppers who want a roomy two-row SUV.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Honda Passport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 27.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.10% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $45,113 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $48,527 CAD average.
• It keeps a practical, straightforward focus with plenty of cargo space and standard all-wheel drive.

Consider the 2026 if:

• At $60,468 CAD, the 2026 costs more than the current year's $48,527 CAD average.
• It brings a thoroughly redesigned cabin and exterior with more aspirational lifestyle appeal.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, satisfaction, and current-market availability, the 2025 is the strongest all-around choice. If your priority is saving money, the 2024 is the better value path. If you want the newest design and are willing to pay more, the 2026 is the upgrade to consider.
