There are 87 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of choice in the used market.

Is the 2023 Honda Passport a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating, and the 2023 Honda Passport earns it with a spacious interior, comfortable seating, and powerful performance. It also stands out for its ample cargo space and smooth ride, which make it a practical fit if you want a two-row SUV with room for people and gear. For shoppers who value everyday usability, the Passport’s five-seat layout and generous packaging make it especially appealing. With 24.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to find a competitive offer.

Is the 2023 Honda Passport reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback points to a dependable ownership experience, with drivers repeatedly highlighting the Passport’s comfortable ride, spacious cabin, and strong performance. That kind of praise suggests you can count on it for everyday use without much drama. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure the vehicle has been well maintained, especially if you plan to keep it for many years.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Honda Passport?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 24.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 87 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.28% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $40,903 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Honda Passport's resale value?

The current average of $40,914 CAD sits slightly below last year's $46,115 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Passport has become more accessible for buyers, but it also means a future seller may face a softer market than owners saw a year ago. If you buy near the current average, there is less room for immediate appreciation, so resale gains are unlikely in the short term. Still, the Passport’s broad appeal should help it remain marketable when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Honda Passport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 24.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.28% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $37,631 CAD, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $40,914 CAD average.
• It adds a tougher look and the first TrailSport trim.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $45,113 CAD, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $40,914 CAD average.
• It keeps the simple formula with proven tech and strong all-weather confidence.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the best all-around pick if you want a well-liked Passport with a softer price trend and decent deal availability. If your priority is saving money, the 2022 is the smarter value play; if you want the newer model-year feel and can spend more, the 2024 is the premium alternative.
