Is the 2025 Genesis G70 a good car?

The 2025 Genesis G70 is a moderate-market choice, with pricing that sits below last year’s average and a deal share that gives you some room to shop selectively. Its current average price of $43,310 CAD and 19.6% good-or-great deal share point to a used market where value is present, but not overwhelming.

That makes it a sensible option if you want to balance price, availability, and timing rather than chase the absolute cheapest listing. The 19.6% good and great deals percentage shows there are still worthwhile opportunities in the market.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Genesis G70?

It’s a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some confidence if you’re patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 19.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 56 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 25.54% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $42,448 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Genesis G70's resale value?

The current average of $43,310 CAD sits slightly below last year's $58,162 CAD.

That drop suggests the market has moved in buyers’ favour, which can make the car easier to purchase now than it was a year ago. For a future seller, that also means resale expectations should stay grounded in current market conditions rather than last year’s higher pricing. If you buy well today, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation pressure later.

Should I buy a 2025 Genesis G70 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 19.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 25.54% compared with last year.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $40,518 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $43,310 CAD average.
• It adds a fresh engine option and strong handling.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2025 if you want the current-year market with a meaningful price drop and a decent pool of listings to compare. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2024 is the better value play because it undercuts the 2025 average while still offering strong appeal.
