Is the 2026 Genesis G70 a good car?

With no expert test-drive score provided here, the best read is the market itself: the 2026 Genesis G70 is priced at $48,105 CAD on average, and that sits well below its average price a year ago. That kind of drop can make it appealing if you want a newer used luxury sedan without paying last year’s pricing.

The market also shows 12.8% of listings as good or great deals, which suggests there are still some worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2026 Genesis G70?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be patient and still find value if you compare listings closely.

• Deal availability: 12.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 47 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 26.68% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $47,269 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2026 Genesis G70's resale value?

The current average of $48,105 CAD sits slightly below last year's $65,607 CAD.

For a future seller, that means the market has already adjusted downward, so your resale outcome will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and trim. If pricing stays near today’s average, you may face more competition from similarly priced listings when it’s time to sell.

Should I buy a 2026 Genesis G70 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 12.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 26.68% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2026 is the better pick if you want to shop a year with softer pricing and a few deal opportunities. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby model years and focus on whichever one gives you the best combination of condition, mileage, and asking price.
