How much does the 2025 Dodge Durango cost?

There are 583 listings available, which suggests you have a decent amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Dodge Durango a good car?

The 2025 Dodge Durango earns a 7.2/10 from our experts, and its strongest category score is Form and function at 9/10.

The standout strength is Form and function at 9/10.

It remains a likable midsize three-row SUV with a roomy, comfortable, and practical interior, and it also brings a modern infotainment system that helps it feel current despite its age. The trade-offs are clear: fuel use is heavy, safety equipment is basic by modern standards, and crash-test performance is unimpressive.

With 31.7% of listings priced as good or great deals, the market still offers some room to find value if you shop carefully.

Is the 2025 Dodge Durango reliable?

The Durango’s long production run and mature design suggest a familiar ownership experience, and the review notes that it has aged remarkably well for a vehicle that has been in production since 2011.

Its powertrain lineup is simplified for 2025, which can make shopping and ownership more straightforward, and the review also describes the SUV as solidly constructed. The infotainment system is modern and well integrated, which helps the vehicle feel less dated in daily use.

For used buyers, the bigger long-term risk is age-related wear and the possibility that maintenance history matters more than mileage alone.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Dodge Durango?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base GT comes with a V6 engine and standard all-wheel drive, while the SRT Hellcat adds much more visual attitude and a more premium cabin treatment. The base trim is the one most likely to feel lightest on extras.
• Powertrain: The GT uses a 295-horsepower 3.6-litre V6, the R/T uses a 360-hp 5.7-litre V8, and the SRT Hellcat uses a 710-hp supercharged 6.2-litre V8. All use an eight-speed automatic transmission and standard AWD in Canada.
• Safety package: Standard safety features include forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, front and rear parking sensors, lane-departure warning, and lane-keep assist. The package is short by modern standards.
• Infotainment: All 2025 Durangos have a Uconnect 5 system with a 10.1-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, native navigation, dual-phone Bluetooth pairing, and wireless smartphone charging.
• Fuel efficiency: The SRT Hellcat is rated at 20.5 L/100 km in the city, 13.8 L/100 km on the highway, and 17.4 L/100 km combined.

Which 2025 Dodge Durango trim should I buy?

The 2025 Dodge Durango is offered in 3 trim levels: GT, R/T, and SRT Hellcat.

Here's the short version:

• GT: This is the value-oriented choice if you want the Durango’s roomy, practical layout and standard AWD without chasing the highest-performance hardware.
• R/T: This is the best-value trim if you want a stronger V8 experience and a more muscular character without going all the way to the Hellcat.
• SRT Hellcat: Choose this if you want the full performance experience, the most aggressive hardware, and the most distinctive special-edition appeal.

The safety package is short by modern standards across the lineup.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Dodge Durango?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it pays to compare listings carefully and move quickly on strong examples.

• Deal availability: 31.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 583 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.17% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $47,998 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Dodge Durango's resale value?

The current average of $47,998 CAD sits slightly below last year's $60,127 CAD.

That price drop suggests the Durango is currently in a softer resale position than it was a year ago. If you plan to sell later, you should expect the market to reward well-kept examples more than average ones.

For a future seller, the upside is that the Durango still has a distinct appeal thanks to its performance and practicality. The downside is that its age and fuel consumption may continue to weigh on resale strength over time.

Is the 2025 Dodge Durango safe?

The Durango earns a four-star overall rating from NHTSA, along with a three-star rollover resistance rating.

It earns a 4/10 safety score from our experts.

The standard safety feature list includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, front and rear parking sensors, lane-departure warning, and lane-keep assist. The review also notes that the Durango’s performance in the small overlap frontal-impact test is a cause for concern.

Should I buy a 2025 Dodge Durango or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 31.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.17% compared with last year.
• It’s the final-year Durango with special editions and a strong mix of practicality and performance.

Consider the 2026 if:

• At $58,480 CAD, the 2026 costs more than the current year's $47,998 CAD average.
• It keeps the Durango’s old-school controls and V8 appeal.

The bottom line: Choose the 2025 if you want the better price and the last-year appeal. Consider the 2026 only if you’re willing to pay more for the newer model-year example and prefer its continued old-school character.
