Is the 2025 Cadillac XT5 a good car?

With no expert test-drive score provided here, you should lean on the market data: the 2025 Cadillac XT5 is trading at an average of $54,515 CAD, and 34.2% of listings are marked as good or great deals. Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Cadillac XT5?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can be patient and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 76 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.80% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $54,510 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Cadillac XT5's resale value?

The current average of $54,515 CAD sits slightly below last year's $63,244 CAD.

For a future seller, that suggests the market has cooled from a stronger pricing period, so resale expectations should be set with today's softer conditions in mind. If you buy well now, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation pressure later. The strongest resale outcome will likely come from a well-priced, well-kept example with broad appeal.

Should I buy a 2025 Cadillac XT5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.80% compared with last year.

The bottom line: If you want the current model year and are comfortable shopping carefully, the 2025 is the better path because pricing has eased and there are still enough listings to compare. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a different year may be worth a look, especially if you can find a lower-priced example with similar equipment.
