Is the 2025 Cadillac XT5 a good car?

With no expert test-drive data provided for this model year, the strongest read comes from the market itself: the XT5 is trading at an average of $54,558 CAD, and prices are down 13.54% from a year ago. Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Cadillac XT5?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can be choosy without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 32.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 73 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.54% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $54,473 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Cadillac XT5's resale value?

The current average of $54,558 CAD sits slightly below last year's $63,104 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can be helpful if you're buying now but less favourable if you're planning to sell soon. If you own one, a softer market may mean you need to price competitively to attract attention. If you're buying, the same trend can work in your favour by giving you more negotiating room.

Should I buy a 2025 Cadillac XT5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 32.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.54% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2025 XT5 makes sense if you want a current-year used example and you can take advantage of the softer pricing environment. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a nearby model year may be worth comparing, especially if you find a lower-priced listing with similar equipment and condition.
