Used 2025 Acura MDX for Sale nearJonquière, QC

How much does the 2025 Acura MDX cost?

Prices have softened 8.39% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 187 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Acura MDX a good car?

The 2025 Acura MDX looks like a strong fit if you want a stylish, comfortable three-row luxury SUV with easy-to-use technology, though its appeal depends on how much you value efficiency and third-row space. It earns a 3.8/5 user rating and a 7.8/10 expert rating.

The standout strength is Technology at 9/10.

Drivers consistently praise its comfort, reliability, and daily usability, especially for family commuting. The expert review also highlights its polished design, intuitive controls, and enjoyable driving dynamics. On the other hand, the standard V6 is described as somewhat underwhelming, fuel economy is a clear weakness, and the third row is cramped.

The MDX’s refreshed layout and straightforward interface make it especially appealing if you want a luxury SUV that feels modern without being fussy. With 37.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is also a decent amount of market value to consider.

Is the 2025 Acura MDX reliable?

The 2025 Acura MDX is presented as a reliable, dependable choice for family commuting, with a reputation for being easy to count on in everyday use. The expert review also describes it as a vehicle with refined, accurate driver-assistance behaviour and a generally trustworthy on-road character.

Acura’s standard driver-assistance suite includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centring assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, Traffic Jam Assist, front and rear parking sensors, and low-speed automatic braking. The system is described as accurate and refined overall, though it can feel unnatural with lane-centring active and adaptive cruise control switched off.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that the MDX’s strengths do not extend to fuel economy, so running costs may stay higher than you’d like.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Acura MDX?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base MDX Tech is nicely equipped, while the A-Spec adds a sportier look and the Platinum Elite A-Spec brings maximum luxury with upgraded seating and more premium presentation. The Type S Ultra is the most performance-focused version, but its expensive wheels and performance tyres make it a poor off-road choice.
• Powertrain: The standard 3.5-litre V6 makes 290 hp and 267 lb-ft of torque through a 10-speed automatic, and SH-AWD is standard in Canada. The engine is described as capable and smooth, but not especially quick, and fuel economy drops if you use Sport mode often.
• Safety package: AcuraWatch is standard and includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centring assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, Traffic Jam Assist, front and rear parking sensors, and low-speed automatic braking. The Type S Ultra adds front cross-traffic alert, evasive steering warning, active lane-change assist, and cornering speed assist.
• Infotainment: The new system uses a 12.3-inch touchscreen with Alexa Built-in, Google Built-in, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, AcuraLink connected services, and a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot. It replaces the old touchpad interface and is much easier to use.
• Fuel efficiency: The standard MDX is rated at 11.2 L/100 km combined, while the Type S uses 12.4 L/100 km combined.

Which 2025 Acura MDX trim should I buy?

The 2025 Acura MDX is offered in 4 trim levels: MDX Tech, MDX A-Spec, MDX Platinum Elite A-Spec, and MDX Type S Ultra.

Here's the short version:

• MDX Tech: This is the best-value starting point because it is already nicely equipped and gives you the refreshed infotainment system, standard SH-AWD, and the full AcuraWatch safety suite.
• MDX A-Spec: Choose this if you want a sportier look and are willing to pay more for appearance and added presence without jumping to the top of the range.
• MDX Platinum Elite A-Spec: This is the luxury-focused pick, adding the most upscale feel and the upgraded seating mentioned in the review, making it the right choice if comfort and presentation matter most.
• MDX Type S Ultra: Pick this only if you want the most performance-oriented MDX, along with the extra safety tech and premium hardware that come with it.

All trims include AcuraWatch, but the Type S Ultra adds extra driver-assistance features not found on the others.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Acura MDX?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but still move quickly on a strong listing.

• Deal availability: 37.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 187 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.39% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $59,120 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Acura MDX's resale value?

The current average of $59,120 CAD sits slightly below last year's $64,531 CAD.

That price movement suggests the MDX has softened enough to improve your buying position today. If you sell later, you may not recover as much as owners did a year ago unless market conditions tighten again.

For a future seller, the upside is that the MDX still sits in a desirable luxury-SUV segment with broad appeal. The downside is that its current pricing trend points to a market that is rewarding buyers more than sellers right now.

Is the 2025 Acura MDX safe?

The 2025 MDX earns a five-star overall rating from NHTSA and a Top Safety Pick+ rating from IIHS.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

AcuraWatch is standard and includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centring assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, Traffic Jam Assist, front and rear parking sensors, and low-speed automatic braking. The system is described as accurate and refined in testing, though the lane-departure warning notification is not especially well liked.

The Type S Ultra adds front cross-traffic alert, evasive steering warning, active lane-change assist, and cornering speed assist. One caveat is that the SH-AWD-equipped MDX does not have a rollover resistance rating from NHTSA.

Should I buy a 2025 Acura MDX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 37.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.39% compared with last year.
• The refresh brings simpler controls, a better infotainment system, and a more refined cabin.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $52,094 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $59,120 CAD average.
• It is a well-rounded luxury SUV with strong everyday comfort and family-friendly space.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It keeps the refreshed formula and adds only minor colour changes.
• It remains comfortable, reliable, and easy to live with.

The bottom line: If you want the most polished version of the MDX’s refreshed formula, the 2025 is the better target. If price matters more than the latest interface and updates, the 2024 is the smarter value play.
