This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 28.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 67 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.29% compared with last year.

What is the 2024 Toyota Highlander Hybrid's resale value?

The current average of $55,016 CAD sits slightly below last year's $58,092 CAD.

That softer pricing can work in your favour if you buy now, but it also means future resale values may depend more on condition and equipment than on broad market momentum. Because the model is positioned as a practical, efficient family SUV, well-kept examples should continue to attract shoppers looking for low running costs and everyday usability. If prices stabilise, that could help support resale values for clean, desirable listings.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Toyota Highlander Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 28.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.29% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $48,343 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $55,016 CAD average.
• It offers quiet cabin manners and strong safety features.

The bottom line: Choose the 2024 if you want the stronger current-market balance of inventory, pricing trend, and satisfaction. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2023 is the better value-focused path, especially if you find a clean example with the right equipment.
