Is the 2024 Toyota Camry a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Toyota Camry earns a 4.7/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its smooth ride, spacious interior, and great features, and many also highlight its reliability and comfort. That fits well if you want a practical midsize sedan that feels more premium inside while still being easy to live with. The owner feedback also points to reliability, with drivers specifically calling out the Camry’s dependable character and comfort. • Deal availability: 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 255 listings available.

What is the 2024 Toyota Camry's resale value?

The current average of $31,099 CAD sits slightly below last year's $33,064 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy more carefully now, but it also suggests future sellers may not see rapid appreciation. If you own one for a few years, resale value will likely depend on how well the market continues to value the Camry’s efficiency, comfort, and standard equipment. The current price trend also shows that buyers are still willing to pay meaningful money for this model year, which supports a solid resale outlook.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Toyota Camry or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.94% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $38,269 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $31,099 CAD average.
• It adds a new hybrid powertrain and updated styling.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2024 if you want a better-value entry point into the Camry nameplate and are comfortable shopping the used market carefully. If you want the newest design and are willing to pay more, the 2025 is the better fit; price-sensitive buyers should focus on the 2024.
