Is the 2024 Toyota Camry a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Toyota Camry earns a 4.67/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its smooth ride, spacious interior, and great features, and many also highlight its reliability and comfort. That fits well if you want a roomy, efficient midsize sedan that still feels practical for everyday use. Is the 2024 Toyota Camry reliable?

Owners rate it 4.67/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to reliability, with drivers specifically calling out the Camry’s dependable nature and comfort over time. That kind of repeat praise matters if you want a used sedan you can count on for daily driving and longer ownership. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about the core car and more about finding one that has been maintained properly and priced fairly.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Toyota Camry?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without expecting deep discounts everywhere.

• Deal availability: 33.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 226 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.74% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $29,494 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Toyota Camry's resale value?

The current average of $30,989 CAD sits slightly below last year's $33,590 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you as a buyer now, but it also suggests future sellers may need to be realistic when it comes time to trade or list the car. If prices stay near the current average, resale value should remain stable rather than strong enough to offset depreciation completely. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.67/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Toyota Camry or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 33.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.74% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.67/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $38,884 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $30,989 CAD average.
• It adds a new hybrid powertrain and updated styling.

The bottom line: If you want the better value today, the 2024 is the smarter starting point because pricing has eased and inventory is available. If you care more about the newest design and are willing to pay a premium, the 2025 is the better fit; price-sensitive buyers should focus on the 2024 and look for listings near the low end of the range.
