The current average of $69,559 CAD sits slightly below last year's $80,966 CAD.

That price movement suggests future sellers may face a softer market than owners saw a year ago. Well-equipped heavy-duty pickups tend to hold attention when they combine capability with comfort, especially if they’ve been maintained carefully.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 RAM 2500 or consider a different year?

• 32.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.09% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• It emphasises comfort, capability, and a well-equipped cabin.

Consider the 2025 if:

• It adds more luxury and refinement while keeping serious capability.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the best all-around choice if you want a strong mix of capability, comfort, and current-market value. If price is your top priority, the 2023 is the smarter path; if you want the newest-feeling option and can spend more, the 2025 is the upgrade to watch.
