Used 2024 Nissan Rogue for Sale nearMidland, ON

How much does the 2024 Nissan Rogue cost?

Prices have softened 20.72% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,937 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Nissan Rogue a good car?

Generally — the 2024 Nissan Rogue earns 4.25/5 from owners and 7.33/10 from our experts. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, and Technology.

It stands out in the compact crossover segment with refreshed styling and a notable technology update, including Google built-in apps that first appear in a Nissan. The Rogue’s appeal is strongest if you want a mainstream compact SUV that feels more modern and more premium than its mission might suggest.

The trade-offs are that the ride quality is poor and the overall performance is fairly pedestrian, so it is less about driving excitement and more about tech, comfort, and cabin polish.

With 32.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still a meaningful share of attractive pricing in the market.

Is the 2024 Nissan Rogue reliable?

Owners rate it 4.25/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Rogue’s reliability case is helped by its mainstream mechanical setup and its strong fuel economy for a gas-only compact SUV. The powertrain is described as an engineering curiosity, but also as impressive, and the vehicle’s overall package is positioned as solid rather than fragile or overly complex.

Nissan’s warranty coverage is about average for the segment, and the Rogue’s fuel-consumption figures are competitive enough to support lower day-to-day running costs. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a vehicle with a CVT and a firmer-than-average ride may feel less forgiving if previous maintenance has been neglected.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Nissan Rogue?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup in Canada includes S, SV Moonroof, SV Premium, SL, and Platinum. Base Rogue S models get 17-inch wheels, while SV models add new materials on nearly every interior surface and the higher trims bring a more premium cabin presentation.
• Powertrain: You get a 1.5-litre turbocharged three-cylinder VC-Turbo engine with 201 horsepower and 225 pound-feet of torque, paired with a CVT and standard AWD in Canada. The engine is strong, but the transmission response and ride quality are weaker points.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, lane departure warning, automatic high beams, and rear automatic emergency braking. ProPilot Assist is standard on SV, while SL and Platinum get a more advanced version that can use navigation data to help slow for curves and interchanges.
• Infotainment: S and SV models use an 8-inch touchscreen with wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. SL and Platinum upgrade to a 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, Amazon Alexa connectivity, and Google built-in apps.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada rates S and SV trims at 8.4/6.7/7.6 L/100 km city/highway/combined, while SL and Platinum are rated at 8.4/6.8/7.7 L/100 km.

Which 2024 Nissan Rogue trim should I buy?

The 2024 Nissan Rogue is offered in 5 trim levels: S, SV Moonroof, SV Premium, SL, and Platinum.

Here's the short version:

• S: This is the entry point, but it still gives you the core Rogue formula, including AWD, the 1.5-litre VC-Turbo engine, and the standard safety suite. It makes sense if you want the lowest-cost way into the model and can live without the larger screen and richer cabin upgrades.
• SV Moonroof: This trim adds a step up in comfort and equipment over the S, while keeping the Rogue’s strong fuel economy and standard safety features. It is a sensible middle-ground choice if you want more everyday appeal without stretching too far.
• SV Premium: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it builds on the SV’s upgraded interior materials and adds more convenience and tech content. It is the sweet spot if you want a more polished Rogue without paying for the top trims.
• SL: This trim brings the 12.3-inch touchscreen, wireless smartphone connectivity, the 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, Google built-in apps, and a more advanced ProPilot Assist setup. Choose it if technology is your priority.
• Platinum: This is the most upscale Rogue, with leather seats, quilted stitching, a Chestnut brown interior option, and the most premium cabin presentation. It suits you best if you want the most luxurious version of the Rogue.

The SV trim gets the standard version of ProPilot Assist, while SL and Platinum receive the more advanced navigation-linked version.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Nissan Rogue?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market.

• Deal availability: 32.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,937 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.72% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $27,611 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Nissan Rogue's resale value?

The current average of $27,611 CAD sits slightly below last year's $34,826 CAD.

That price drop suggests the market has become more favourable for buyers, but it also means future sellers may face more competition if values continue to normalise. If you buy at the current average or below, you may have less depreciation pressure than someone who bought when prices were higher. Strong demand for well-equipped compact SUVs should still help support used values over time.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.25/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Nissan Rogue safe?

The 2024 Rogue received top “Good” ratings in the small-overlap front crash test, the original-format moderate-overlap front test, and the original side-impact test from IIHS, plus an “Acceptable” rating in the updated side-impact test. It also earned a five-star overall safety rating from NHTSA, with five stars in side crash tests and four stars in rollover and frontal crash tests.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard driver-assistance features include automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, lane departure warning, automatic high beams, and rear automatic emergency braking. ProPilot Assist is Nissan’s advanced driver-assistance system, and it adds automated lane centring for highway driving. The basic version is standard on SV, while SL and Platinum get a more advanced version that can use navigation data to help slow for curves and interchanges.

The main caveat is the updated side-impact result, which is only acceptable rather than good.

Should I buy a 2024 Nissan Rogue or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 32.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.72% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.25/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• It debuts refreshed styling and Google built-in apps, giving it a more modern tech story.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $26,747 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $27,611 CAD average.
• It remains a stylish mainstream SUV with strong comfort and safety equipment.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $30,676 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $27,611 CAD average.
• It adds Rock Creek off-road character and ProPilot Assist 2.1.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the best all-around pick if you want the newest tech and refreshed styling without stepping up to the pricier 2025. If your priority is saving money, the 2023 is the better value path, while the 2025 makes sense if you want the newer capability and are willing to pay more.
