Used 2024 Nissan Rogue for Sale nearAjax, ON

How much does the 2024 Nissan Rogue cost?

Prices have softened 20.28% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,966 listings available, which suggests you have a healthy amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Nissan Rogue a good car?

Generally — the 2024 Nissan Rogue earns a 4.25/5 user rating and a 7.33/10 expert rating, which points to a well-regarded compact crossover with clear strengths. The model’s refreshed styling and Google built-in apps give it a more modern feel, and the cabin is a major part of its appeal, especially in higher trims. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, and Technology.

The trade-offs are worth keeping in mind: the ride quality is poor, and overall performance is fairly pedestrian. Even so, the Rogue’s updated tech and upscale Platinum cabin make it a strong fit if you want a compact SUV that feels more premium than basic.

31.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Nissan Rogue reliable?

Owners rate it 4.25/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Rogue is presented as a solid compact SUV with a strong powertrain, useful technology, and an interior that stands out in the segment. Its engine is described as impressive, and the vehicle’s overall package is framed as a worthwhile choice for buyers who value comfort, efficiency, and modern features. The powertrain’s variable compression design is a notable engineering feature, and the model’s fuel economy is a strength for gas-only shoppers.

Nissan’s warranty coverage is about average for the class, which helps keep ownership risk in check for used buyers. For a used purchase, the main long-term risk is that the CVT and firmer ride may be less satisfying over time than the engine and tech are at first glance.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Nissan Rogue?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: S, SV Moonroof, SV Premium, SL, and Platinum are the Canadian trim levels. The base Rogue S is the most stripped-down version, while higher trims add a more premium cabin, larger screens, and more convenience features.
• Powertrain: The Rogue uses a 1.5-litre turbocharged three-cylinder VC-Turbo engine with 201 horsepower and 225 pound-feet of torque, paired with a CVT and standard AWD in Canada. It is strong on paper, but the transmission and ride tuning are part of the overall driving experience you should assess carefully.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, lane departure warning, automatic high beams, and rear automatic emergency braking. ProPilot Assist is standard on SV and higher trims, while SL and Platinum get a more advanced version with navigation-linked slowing for curves and interchanges.
• Infotainment: S and SV models come with an 8-inch touchscreen and wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. SL and Platinum upgrade to a 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, Amazon Alexa connectivity, and Google built-in apps.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada rates the S and SV trims at 8.4/6.7/7.6 L/100 km city/highway/combined, while SL and Platinum are rated at 8.4/6.8/7.7 L/100 km.

Which 2024 Nissan Rogue trim should I buy?

The 2024 Nissan Rogue is offered in 5 trim levels: S, SV Moonroof, SV Premium, SL, and Platinum.

Here's the short version:

• S: This is the entry point, and it gives you the core Rogue experience with standard AWD, the 8-inch touchscreen, wired smartphone connectivity, and the full base safety suite. It makes sense if you want the lowest-cost way into the model, but it is the least feature-rich version.
• SV Moonroof: This trim adds more comfort and visual appeal than the S, while staying below the more heavily equipped versions. It is a sensible middle step if you want a nicer daily driver without jumping too far up the price ladder.
• SV Premium: This is the best-value choice for many shoppers because it builds on the SV formula with more equipment while keeping the Rogue’s strongest value proposition intact. It also gets ProPilot Assist, which adds meaningful driver-assistance capability.
• SL: This trim is the point where the Rogue’s tech story really improves, with the larger 12.3-inch touchscreen, wireless smartphone connectivity, the digital instrument cluster, and a wireless charging pad. It suits you if technology matters more than keeping the price down.
• Platinum: This is the most upscale Rogue, with the richest cabin treatment, leather seats, quilted stitching, and the most premium feel overall. It is the trim to choose if you want the most polished version of the Rogue and are willing to pay for it.

ProPilot Assist is standard on the SV trim level, while SL and Platinum get the more advanced version.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Nissan Rogue?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 31.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,966 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.28% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $27,518 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Nissan Rogue's resale value?

The current average of $27,518 CAD sits slightly below last year's $34,517 CAD.

That price drop suggests the used market has become more buyer-friendly, which can make the Rogue easier to move if you buy at the right number. For a future seller, the key is to avoid overpaying now, because resale value will depend heavily on how close your purchase price is to the current market floor. Well-equipped trims with desirable tech may hold broader appeal, but the market is still rewarding shoppers more than sellers right now.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.25/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Nissan Rogue safe?

The 2024 Rogue received top “Good” ratings in the small-overlap front crash test, the original-format moderate-overlap front test, and the original side-impact test from IIHS, plus an “Acceptable” rating in the updated side-impact test. It also earned a five-star overall rating from NHTSA, with five-star ratings in side crash tests and four-star ratings in rollover and frontal crash tests.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard driver-assistance features include automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, lane departure warning, automatic high beams, and rear automatic emergency braking. ProPilot Assist is standard on the SV trim level, while SL and Platinum get a more advanced version that adds navigation-linked slowing for curves and interchanges.

The main caveat is the updated side-impact result, which is not as strong as the Rogue’s other crash-test scores.

Should I buy a 2024 Nissan Rogue or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 31.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.28% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.25/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• It debuts Google built-in apps, giving the Rogue its biggest tech update yet.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $26,689 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $27,518 CAD average.
• It adds a new turbocharged engine and a Midnight Edition package.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $30,552 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $27,518 CAD average.
• It adds Rock Creek off-road styling and ProPilot Assist 2.1.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the best pick if you want the newest tech and a softer used-market price than last year. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2023 is the smarter value play; if you want the latest upgrades and can spend more, the 2025 is the more advanced choice.
