How much does the 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander cost?

Is the 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. It stands out because it offers a standard third row, giving you seven-seat flexibility that many compact SUV rivals do not match. You also get a modern cabin layout, a larger touchscreen, and an available digital instrument panel, which make it appealing if you want a family-focused SUV with extra seating and a distinctive look. The market also shows 28.3% good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Outlander’s appeal is reinforced by its comfort-oriented tuning, quiet cabin, and standard all-wheel drive in Canada through Mitsubishi’s S-AWC system. It also comes with a strong list of driver-assistance features, including forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, lane departure warning, reverse automatic braking, and rear parking sensors. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that the third row is very small, so you should treat it as occasional-use space rather than a full-size seating solution.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 28.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 508 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.79% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $32,939 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander's resale value?

The current average of $32,939 CAD sits slightly below last year's $34,596 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy in at a more favourable point, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays soft. If you plan to sell later, the Outlander’s value will likely depend on how well it holds buyer interest in a crowded SUV segment. Its standard seven-seat layout and family-friendly positioning should help keep it relevant with shoppers who need extra flexibility.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 28.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.79% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $34,041 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $32,939 CAD average.
• It adds updated in-cabin tech and a refreshed sound system.

The bottom line: Choose the 2024 if you want the better value and are comfortable with its comfort-first character. If you care more about newer tech and a refreshed cabin, the 2025 is the better path, but price-sensitive buyers will likely find the 2024 easier to justify.
