Is the 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander earns a 5/5 user rating, and its appeal is strongest if you want a compact SUV with standard seven-seat packaging, a more upright presence, and a modern cabin layout. It also stands out for generous standard equipment, including heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, an eight-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a strong list of safety features. If you want a compact SUV that feels a little different from the usual five-seat formula, that combination gives it a clear use-case advantage. 27.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Outlander is described as comfortable and quiet, with a cabin that prioritises everyday usability over sporty performance. Its standard all-wheel drive and generous equipment list also support a practical ownership experience. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that the third row is very small and the engine can sound loud when pushed, so it is best suited to buyers who value versatility more than refinement under hard acceleration.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without expecting deep discounts on every listing.

• Deal availability: 27.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 489 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.57% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $32,949 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander's resale value?

The current average of $32,949 CAD sits slightly below last year's $34,893 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the Outlander has already absorbed some depreciation, which can help future sellers if the market stabilises. Because the model offers standard seven-seat packaging and a well-equipped cabin, it should continue to appeal to shoppers who want something practical and a little different. If demand stays steady, that combination can help support used-market interest over time.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 27.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.57% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $34,024 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $32,949 CAD average.
• It adds refreshed interior tech and an upgraded sound system.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2024 if you want the better value and are comfortable with its existing formula. Consider the 2025 if the newer cabin tech and improved audio matter enough to justify the higher price, especially if you are less price-sensitive.
