How much does the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLE cost?

Is the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLE a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLE earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its luxurious feel, stylish design, and high-quality features, and the model’s broad range of powertrains and body styles makes it appealing whether you want comfort, performance, or efficiency. With five seats standard and available seven-seat capacity, it also fits a range of family and lifestyle needs. With 36.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful number of attractive options to consider.

Is the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLE reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback highlights that many drivers find it luxurious and sporty, with a premium feel that holds up well in day-to-day use. The same feedback also points to concerns about depreciation and expensive maintenance costs, so reliability in the ownership sense is tied not just to mechanical confidence but also to keeping long-term running costs in check. For used buyers, that means the biggest ownership risk is less about whether the SUV feels desirable and more about whether you are comfortable with potentially higher upkeep over time.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLE?

This looks like a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory to shop carefully and enough deal activity to reward patience.

• Deal availability: 36.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 214 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.72% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $75,609 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLE's resale value?

The current average of $77,329 CAD sits slightly below last year's $85,654 CAD.

That decline suggests the market has already absorbed some depreciation, which can be helpful if you are buying now but less ideal if you are planning to sell soon. For a future seller, the current pricing trend means you may not recover as much as earlier owners did, especially if you buy near the top of the range. Still, the model’s premium image and broad appeal can help support demand when it is time to list.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLE or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 36.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.72% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $67,929 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $77,329 CAD average.
• It offers a strong mix of comfort, technology, and versatility.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $96,171 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $77,329 CAD average.
• It adds more body-style choice and a newer Coupe variant.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the best all-around path if you want the strongest mix of current-market pricing, owner satisfaction, and inventory choice. If your priority is saving money, the 2023 is the better secondary path, especially if you can find one with the features you want at a lower entry price.
