Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLE?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 32.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 228 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.96% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $76,603 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLE's resale value?

The current average of $77,286 CAD sits slightly below last year's $89,822 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can be a double-edged sword for future sellers. On one hand, you may not see the same steep early drop from here that a first owner would. On the other hand, the model’s premium positioning and broad appeal can still support demand if you keep mileage, condition, and maintenance records in good shape.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLE or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 32.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.96% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $67,288 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $77,286 CAD average.
• It offers a polished luxury SUV feel with strong everyday practicality.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $99,727 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $77,286 CAD average.
• It adds a broader family-focused luxury SUV appeal with a stylish interior.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the best all-around choice if you want the strongest balance of price movement, owner satisfaction, and current-market availability. If your priority is saving money, the 2023 is the better value path; if you want to spend more for a newer alternative, the 2025 is the premium step up.
