Used 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC for Sale nearBurnaby, BC

How much does the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC cost?

Prices have softened 12.53% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 222 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.17/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel and Technology.

The GLC’s appeal comes from its upscale cabin, highly functional voice-command system, and improved ride compared with its predecessor. It also has strong safety credentials, which helps it fit shoppers looking for a refined compact luxury SUV rather than a stripped-down value play.

The trade-offs are that desirable advanced driver-assistance systems are not standard, limited cargo space is a drawback, especially in the Coupe, and some of the features you’re likely to want cost extra.

With 34.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, there’s a decent share of attractive inventory to consider.

Is the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 GLC is presented as a polished, well-executed luxury crossover with strong safety results and a refined driving experience. Its improved ride and solid expert safety score support the case for dependable day-to-day use, while the standard 4Matic all-wheel drive adds confidence in Canadian conditions.

The performance side is also reassuring in the sense that the powertrains are established and the base model is not underpowered for the class. If you’re buying used, the main long-term ownership risk is more about costly optioning and feature availability than about the core vehicle itself.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The GLC 300 is the more broadly satisfying choice for most shoppers, while the AMG GLC 43 is aimed more at enthusiasts than typical luxury-crossover buyers. The AMG version adds a more aggressive grille, standard four-wheel steering, and a firmer, performance-focused setup, but it also brings a rougher ride and less commuter-friendly behaviour.
• Powertrain: The GLC 300 uses a mild-hybrid turbo-four with 255 hp, while the AMG GLC 43 uses a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder with 416 horsepower and a 48-volt mild-hybrid system. Both use a nine-speed automatic, but the AMG’s multi-clutch transmission shifts faster and more sharply.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes active brake assist, attention assist, blind-spot and exit warning assist, adaptive braking technology, adaptive high beams, heated and rain-sensing wipers, active parking assist, and Pre-Safe. Adaptive cruise control, active steering assist, active lane-keeping assist, and traffic sign assist cost extra.
• Infotainment: You get an 11.9-inch centre screen with the third-generation MBUX system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a highly usable voice-command system. Navigation, a 15-speaker Burmester 3D surround sound system, a head-up display, augmented reality navigation, and additional USB-C ports are available.
• Fuel efficiency: The GLC 300 SUV and Coupe are rated at 9.0 L/100 km combined, while the AMG GLC 43 SUV is rated at 11.2 L/100 km combined and the AMG GLC 43 Coupe at 11.4 L/100 km combined.

Which 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC trim should I buy?

The 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC is offered in 2 trim levels: GLC 300 and AMG GLC 43.

Here's the short version:

• GLC 300: This is the best-value choice for most used buyers because it delivers the core GLC experience: a refined cabin, strong tech, standard 4Matic all-wheel drive, and the more approachable price point. It suits you best if you want a sub-$60k Mercedes-Benz without the AMG ride and running-cost trade-offs.
• AMG GLC 43: Choose this if you want the sharper performance character, stronger output, and standard four-wheel steering. It’s the right pick if you care more about driving engagement than everyday comfort, but the firmer ride and rougher shifts make it less appealing as a commuter.

Standard safety equipment is strong, but several desirable driver-assistance features remain optional on both trims.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory to shop carefully and enough pricing softness to create opportunities.

• Deal availability: 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 222 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.53% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $52,057 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC's resale value?

The current average of $54,104 CAD sits slightly below last year's $61,852 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer today but may temper resale upside if you sell in the near term. If you buy at a strong price and keep the vehicle well equipped and well maintained, you should be in a better position when it’s time to trade or sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC safe?

The 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC earned a Top Safety Pick+ award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), that institution’s highest honour.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety features on the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe and SUV include active brake assist, attention assist, blind-spot and exit warning assist, adaptive braking technology, adaptive high beams, heated and rain-sensing wipers, and active parking assist, among other features. Pre-Safe is also standard, and it can tighten seatbelts, close the windows and moonroof if equipped, and reposition the front passenger’s seat if a crash is imminent.

One caveat is that the standard front crash-prevention system was rated Acceptable, while the upgraded version earned Good. Also, several advanced driver-assistance systems remain optional rather than standard.

Should I buy a 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.53% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It adds AMG variants back to the range, broadening the lineup.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $48,990 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $54,104 CAD average.
• It offers a conservative redesign with a polished, upscale cabin.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $67,545 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $54,104 CAD average.
• It adds a few revisions and a new plug-in hybrid variant.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, safety, and everyday appeal, the 2024 is the strongest all-around pick. If you’re shopping on a tighter budget, the 2023 is the value path; if you want the newer revision and can spend more, the 2025 is the upgrade path.
