The 2024 Mercedes-Benz C-Class brings a lot of the brand’s luxury-car polish into a compact package, with a modern cabin, standard 4Matic all-wheel drive, and a mild-hybrid powertrain that supports everyday efficiency and traction. The 2024 Mercedes-Benz C-Class uses a standard 48-volt mild-hybrid system paired with a turbocharged 2.0-litre engine, and Mercedes positions it as a modern, efficiency-minded luxury sedan with standard all-wheel drive. Its safety and technology equipment also support confidence for daily use, including blind-spot monitoring and automatic emergency braking. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that equipment levels can vary a lot by example, so you will want to verify the features and condition of the specific car you are considering.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Mercedes-Benz C-Class?

It looks like a buyer’s market if you are shopping this model year now.

• Deal availability: 46.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 195 listings available.

What is the 2024 Mercedes-Benz C-Class's resale value?

The current average of $43,082 CAD sits slightly below last year's $59,947 CAD.

That price movement suggests the model has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can be helpful if you are buying used and planning to own it for a few years. For a future seller, the current market level means there may be less room for further steep drops than there was a year ago, especially if the car is well equipped and well maintained. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Mercedes-Benz C-Class or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 46.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 28.13% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the better pick if you want the current-generation C-Class experience with modern cabin tech, standard all-wheel drive, and a lower used price than it carried a year ago. If you are more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may still make sense, but the 2024 is the stronger choice when you want the newest-feeling version without paying new-car money.
