How much does the 2025 Mercedes-Benz C-Class cost?

Is the 2025 Mercedes-Benz C-Class a good car?

The 2025 Mercedes-Benz C-Class stands out because it brings a lot of luxury-car polish into a compact package. Mercedes gives it a standard 48-volt mild-hybrid system paired with a turbocharged 2.0-litre engine, and the result is a car that feels modern in both its powertrain and its efficiency-minded engineering. In Canada, 4Matic all-wheel drive is standard, and the cabin is shaped around the same S-Class-inspired design language that helps the C-Class feel more upscale than its size might suggest.

It also offers the kind of technology you expect from a current Mercedes. The 2025 Mercedes-Benz C-Class uses an 11.9-inch touchscreen with the latest MBUX infotainment system, a 12.3-inch digital instrument display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and available driver-assistance features such as a head-up display and adaptive cruise control with lane centring. Safety is another strength, with blind-spot monitoring and automatic emergency braking included, and the model has earned “Top Safety Pick” or “Top Safety Pick+” ratings every year it has been on sale.

There are a few trade-offs, though. The trunk is not as large as some rivals, and the infotainment system and touch-sensitive controls can take some getting used to. Still, the 2025 Mercedes-Benz C-Class remains appealing for buyers who want a compact luxury sedan that combines strong standard equipment, a refined interior, and a distinctly premium feel.

With 41.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market gives you a decent chance to find a well-priced example.

Is the 2025 Mercedes-Benz C-Class reliable?

The 2025 Mercedes-Benz C-Class benefits from a standard 48-volt mild-hybrid system, a turbocharged 2.0-litre engine, and a safety package that includes blind-spot monitoring and automatic emergency braking. It also has a strong safety track record, with “Top Safety Pick” or “Top Safety Pick+” recognition every year it has been on sale.

For a used buyer, the main long-term ownership risk is that a premium car with advanced technology and complex controls can be more demanding to live with if you want simple, low-stress ownership.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Mercedes-Benz C-Class?

This looks like a buyer-friendly market for the 2025 Mercedes-Benz C-Class, especially if you are willing to compare listings carefully and move quickly on the right example.

• Deal availability: 41.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 162 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.72% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $58,788 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Mercedes-Benz C-Class's resale value?

The current average of $58,809 CAD sits slightly below last year's $72,356 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer today. For a future seller, it means resale value may be more sensitive to condition, mileage, and equipment than it would be in a stronger pricing environment. If you keep the car well maintained and choose a desirable example, you should be in a better position when it is time to sell.

Should I buy a 2025 Mercedes-Benz C-Class or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 41.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.72% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the better pick if you want the current-generation C-Class experience with strong market pricing and a good spread of inventory. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a nearby model year may be worth a look, but the 2025 gives you a compelling mix of luxury feel, technology, and deal potential.
