Used 2024 Mazda MAZDA3 for Sale nearWindsor, ON

How much does the 2024 Mazda MAZDA3 cost?

Prices have softened 6.82% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 241 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Mazda MAZDA3 a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Mazda MAZDA3 earns a 4.67/5 user rating and a 7.5/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Safety.

It stands out as a compact car that can be tailored to your priorities, with sedan and hatchback body styles, front- or all-wheel drive, and naturally aspirated or turbocharged engine choices. The trade-offs are a confusing trim structure and limited practicality in the back half of the cabin.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The GX trim is the entry point, while GS and GT add more equipment; the hatchback also brings the premium Suna trim. The base trim leaves you with fewer safety features than higher trims, so you should compare equipment carefully.
• Powertrain: You get a naturally aspirated 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine or an optional turbocharged 2.5-litre four-cylinder. The turbo setup delivers stronger performance, while the non-turbo versions are the more efficiency-focused choice.
• Safety package: Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are standard, while automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, and Adaptive Cruise Control with stop-and-go begin at GS. GT adds Traffic Jam Assist.
• Infotainment: Most trims use an 8.8-inch display, while a new available 10.25-inch screen adds touchscreen functionality only for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, and wireless charging is available.
• Fuel efficiency: Fuel consumption measures 8.4 L/100 km city, 6.3 highway, and 7.5 combined in FWD, non-turbo sedans; 8.5 city, 6.5 highway, and 7.6 combined in FWD, non-turbo hatchbacks; 9.0/6.4/7.8 with the manual; 8.9/6.6/7.9 for AWD naturally aspirated sedans; 9.0/7.1/8.1 for AWD naturally aspirated hatchbacks; 10.1/7.3/8.8 for turbo sedans; and 10.1/7.5/8.9 for turbo hatchbacks.

The 32.0% share of good or great deals suggests there are still some attractive listings if you shop carefully.

Is the 2024 Mazda MAZDA3 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.67/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Mazda MAZDA3 is presented as a polished, well-engineered compact car with strong driving dynamics and a design that has aged gracefully. Its expert assessment also points to a car that feels more upscale than many mainstream rivals, which usually supports confidence in day-to-day ownership.

On the dependability side, the performance notes describe a chassis that handles corners incredibly well and steering that is tight and precise. The cost-effectiveness notes also suggest the car offers a compelling suite of standard features, which can help reduce the feeling that you need to add a lot after purchase.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about outright durability and more about living with the car’s compromises, especially if you need generous cargo room or rear-seat space.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Mazda MAZDA3?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The GX, GS, GT, and hatchback-only Suna trim each move the car up the equipment ladder. The base trim is the one most likely to leave you wanting more safety and convenience features.
• Powertrain: The standard 2.5-litre engine is the sensible choice, while the turbocharged version is the one to seek if you want stronger acceleration and a more energetic feel.
• Safety package: Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are standard, but automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, and Adaptive Cruise Control with stop-and-go start at GS. GT adds Traffic Jam Assist.
• Infotainment: Look for the available 10.25-inch screen if you want the larger display, but remember that touchscreen use is limited to Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
• Fuel efficiency: The non-turbo front-wheel-drive versions are the most efficient, while the turbocharged AWD models use more fuel.

Which 2024 Mazda MAZDA3 trim should I buy?

The 2024 Mazda MAZDA3 is offered in 4 trim levels: GX, GS, GT, and Suna.

Here's the short version:

• GX: This is the entry point, but it is the trim most likely to feel stripped back compared with the rest of the range. It makes sense only if you want the lowest starting price and can live without the extra safety and convenience features.
• GS: This is the best-value trim because it adds the key safety equipment you are most likely to want, including automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, and Adaptive Cruise Control with stop-and-go.
• GT: Choose this if you want a more complete, more upscale Mazda3 experience. It adds Traffic Jam Assist and is the trim to target if you want the strongest mix of equipment and refinement.
• Suna: This hatchback-only trim is the most distinctive choice and sits at the top of the range. It suits you if you want the most premium-feeling Mazda3 hatchback and are willing to pay for it.

The safety package starts at GS, so that is the trim level most shoppers should focus on first.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Mazda MAZDA3?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you should be able to find opportunities if you compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 32.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 241 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.82% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $26,645 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Mazda MAZDA3's resale value?

The current average of $26,801 CAD sits slightly below last year's $28,763 CAD.

That softer pricing trend suggests future sellers may need to be realistic when setting an asking price. If you buy now, you may not see rapid appreciation, but the current market also means you are entering at a more favourable point than buyers were a year ago.

The Mazda3’s premium feel and strong driving character should help it remain appealing to used shoppers who want something more polished than a typical compact car. That said, resale will still depend on trim, condition, and how well the car’s equipment matches what buyers want.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.67/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Mazda MAZDA3 safe?

The 2024 Mazda3, in both hatchback and sedan forms, was awarded five stars from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Additionally, the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) named it a 2024 Top Safety Pick+.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are standard, while automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, and lane-keeping assist begin at GS. Adaptive Cruise Control with stop-and-go is also included from GS, and GT adds Traffic Jam Assist.

The main safety caveat is that some of the most useful driver-assistance features are not standard on the base trim, so you should avoid assuming every used Mazda3 has the same safety equipment.

Should I buy a 2024 Mazda MAZDA3 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 32.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.82% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.67/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It combines sedan and hatchback body styles with multiple powertrain choices and a more premium feel than many compact rivals.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $25,252 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $26,801 CAD average.
• It offers an upscale feel and hatchback versatility for everyday use.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $28,125 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $26,801 CAD average.
• It adds Amazon Alexa Built-in on GT and higher trims, plus a new Suna Edition hatchback top model.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of current pricing, strong safety, and broad configuration choice, the 2024 is the smart default. If your budget is tighter, the 2023 is the better value play; if you want the newest tech updates, look to the 2025.
