How much does the 2024 Lexus IS cost?

There are 77 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2024 Lexus IS a good car?

The 2024 Lexus IS stands out as a compact luxury sports sedan that still leans into driver appeal. Lexus positions it as an entry-level model with comparatively low pricing and compact proportions, and it is aimed at younger buyers and people who do not often carry passengers.

That focus comes with a clear trade-off: the back seat is really tight, so it is less practical for families. It is fun to drive and easy to use, but it is also limited by cargo space and poor fuel economy, so it makes the most sense if you value a sporty feel and a well-equipped cabin more than outright space or thrift.

With 16.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Lexus IS reliable?

The 2024 Lexus IS benefits from the updated third-generation formula, including the 2021 refresh that brought modern infotainment and standard Lexus Safety System+ features. It also comes with a straightforward equipment set that should feel familiar and easy to live with.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about complexity and more about whether the car’s tight packaging and poor fuel economy fit your day-to-day needs over time.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Lexus IS?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 16.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 77 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices are up 1.33% year-over-year.

If you find a listing below $45,773 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Lexus IS's resale value?

The current average of $49,592 CAD sits slightly above last year's $48,943 CAD.

That upward move suggests the 2024 Lexus IS is holding value reasonably well in the used market. If you buy one and keep it in good condition, you can expect the model’s sporty-luxury appeal to support resale interest later. The current pricing also suggests sellers may have some confidence in demand, which can help if you decide to trade or sell down the road.

Should I buy a 2024 Lexus IS or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 16.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices are up 1.33% year-over-year.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the right pick if you want the updated third-generation Lexus IS with its sporty character, standard safety tech, and easy-to-use cabin. If you are more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may give you a lower entry point while still delivering much of the same appeal.
