How much does the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee cost?

Is the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and it lines up with a vehicle that blends Jeep’s off-road identity with a more premium, SUV-first character. In Canada, you get standard four-wheel drive, a broad spread of configurations, and multiple 4WD systems, so you can choose between simpler versions and more capable, upscale ones. That makes it a strong fit if you want one SUV that can cover daily driving, winter use, and more adventurous terrain.

There are 30.8% of listings priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee’s appeal comes from its established formula: standard 4WD in Canada, a wide trim spread, and a cabin that can be genuinely upscale on higher trims. The standard 3.6-litre V6 and eight-speed automatic give you a familiar powertrain setup, while the available 4xe and advanced 4WD systems broaden its capability.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure the specific example you choose has been maintained properly, especially if it has more complex equipment or higher-end hardware.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you know what you want.

• Deal availability: 30.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 536 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.71% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $42,325 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee's resale value?

The current average of $42,332 CAD sits slightly below last year's $52,724 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can be helpful if you are buying now but less favourable if you plan to sell soon. If values stay near this level, future resale will depend more on condition, mileage, and equipment than on broad market momentum. Well-equipped examples with the right features should still attract attention, especially because the model has a broad appeal.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 30.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.71% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: Buy the 2024 if you want the newer model-year experience and you value the combination of standard 4WD, premium-leaning features, and a broad trim range. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a nearby year may be worth considering, especially if you can find a well-kept example with the equipment you want at a lower asking price.
