Used 2024 Hyundai Palisade for Sale near Manitoba

How much does the 2024 Hyundai Palisade cost?

Prices have softened 13.32% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 427 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Hyundai Palisade a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Hyundai Palisade earns a 5/5 user rating and an 8.7/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Form and function at 10/10.

Owners consistently praise its luxurious feel, abundant tech features, comfortable driving experience, and generous room for passengers. The Palisade also comes across as a strong value, which lines up with its family-friendly, upscale positioning.

The main trade-offs are its polarizing design and poor fuel economy, and it also lacks wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. If you want a roomy three-row SUV that feels a bit more special than the average family hauler, this one fits that brief well.

With 31.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful market choice for shoppers.

Is the 2024 Hyundai Palisade reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience, with many owners describing it as a vehicle they can count on over the long term. The expert evaluation also supports that impression by highlighting Hyundai’s strong warranty coverage and the Palisade’s solid overall value.

Hyundai includes five years or 100,000 kilometres of new vehicle warranty coverage, plus five years of roadside assistance. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a well-equipped SUV like this can be costly to keep if prior maintenance has been inconsistent.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Hyundai Palisade?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Palisade is offered in two trims: Urban and Ultimate Calligraphy. The Ultimate Calligraphy adds a more luxurious cabin with an artificial suede headliner, quality upholstery, metal speaker grilles, and striped dashboard and door trim, while the Urban is the more accessible entry point.
• Powertrain: Every Palisade uses a 3.8-litre V6 with 291 horsepower and an eight-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is standard in Canada, and the SUV offers selectable drive modes plus a lock function for the AWD system.
• Safety package: Hyundai’s driver-assistance suite includes forward-collision warning with pedestrian and cyclist detection, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, a blind-spot view camera system, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, intersection assist, safe exit assist, automatic high-beam headlights, front and rear parking sensors, and a rear-seat reminder system. Highway Driving Assist is standard, while the Ultimate Calligraphy adds lane-change assist.
• Infotainment: You get a standard 12.3-inch digital instrument panel and a 12.3-inch touchscreen with navigation. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, but they require a cable connection; wireless charging is included only on the Ultimate Calligraphy.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada says an AWD Palisade should use 11.1 L/100 km in combined driving, and the test vehicle averaged 15.0 L/100 km on the evaluation loop.

Which 2024 Hyundai Palisade trim should I buy?

The 2024 Hyundai Palisade is offered in 2 trim levels: Urban and Ultimate Calligraphy.

Here's the short version:

• Urban: This is the trim to focus on if you want the Palisade’s core strengths without stretching to the top model. You still get the roomy cabin, standard AWD, the 12.3-inch infotainment setup, and the full safety suite, so it should suit most buyers well.
• Ultimate Calligraphy: This is the best-value choice if you want the most upscale Palisade experience. It adds the richer interior treatment, wireless charging, and lane-change assist for Highway Driving Assist, making it the trim that best matches the SUV’s near-luxury feel.

The safety package is generous across the lineup, but the Ultimate Calligraphy adds lane-change assist to Highway Driving Assist.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Hyundai Palisade?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 31.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 427 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.32% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $42,881 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Hyundai Palisade's resale value?

The current average of $42,893 CAD sits slightly below last year's $49,484 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the Palisade is currently more buyer-friendly than it was a year ago, which can make it easier for future sellers to attract attention if they price competitively. The year-over-year decline also means you should expect resale values to reflect a market that has already adjusted downward. Even so, a well-kept example with strong equipment and desirable trim content should still hold appeal.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Hyundai Palisade safe?

The 2024 Palisade earns a Top Safety Pick rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), and it gets five-star ratings for side-impact collisions and a four-star rollover resistance rating from NHTSA.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Hyundai equips it with a broad suite of driver-assistance features, including forward-collision warning with pedestrian and cyclist detection, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, a blind-spot view camera system, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, intersection assist, safe exit assist, automatic high-beam headlights, front and rear parking sensors, and a rear-seat reminder system. Highway Driving Assist is standard, pairing adaptive cruise control with curve speed control and lane-centring assist.

One caveat is that the IIHS rating does not include the newer moderate overlap frontal-impact test for rear occupant safety. NHTSA frontal crash results are also incomplete.

Should I buy a 2024 Hyundai Palisade or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 31.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.32% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It combines a refreshed, upscale feel with strong value and a roomy, family-friendly layout.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $38,954 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $42,893 CAD average.
• It adds a facelift and more standard and optional tech and safety features.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $47,958 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $42,893 CAD average.
• It remains a roomy, well-rounded three-row SUV with improved styling, technology, and packaging.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of value, features, and current market pricing, the 2024 is the sensible pick. If your priority is saving money, the 2023 is the better budget path; if you want the newest version and can pay more, the 2025 is worth a look.
