The owner feedback points to a vehicle that many drivers feel good about living with over time, especially because of its spaciousness and value. Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Honda Pilot?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 27.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 189 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.25% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $48,639 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Honda Pilot's resale value?

The current average of $48,639 CAD sits slightly below last year's $53,594 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favourable point today. For a future seller, it also means resale expectations should stay realistic unless demand strengthens. The good news is that the Pilot’s broad family appeal and strong owner satisfaction should help support interest when you eventually list it. Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Honda Pilot or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 27.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.25% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $47,213 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $48,639 CAD average.
• It adds a rugged redesign with more power and useful convenience features.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $54,220 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $48,639 CAD average.
• It simplifies the lineup with standard AWD and flexible seating.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the best all-around choice if you want a well-equipped, family-friendly Pilot at a softened market price. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2023 is the smarter value play, while the 2025 makes sense only if you want the newer model-year package and are comfortable paying more.

How does the 2024 Honda Pilot compare to the 2024 Toyota Highlander?

The Pilot gives you more power and more listings to choose from, while the Highlander shows a slightly stronger share of good and great deals. If you want broader inventory and a roomier-feeling family SUV, the Pilot is the more flexible shopping target. If deal share matters most, the Highlander has the edge.
