Used 2024 Honda Civic Hatchback for Sale nearToronto, ON

How much does the 2024 Honda Civic Hatchback cost?

Prices have softened 5.66% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 65 listings available, which suggests a modest amount of inventory for you to compare.

Is the 2024 Honda Civic Hatchback a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Honda Civic Hatchback earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.67/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Performance and Form and function.

It blends quality, fun, safety, utility, and affordability in one compact package, and the hatchback body adds meaningful practicality. The turbocharged engine and available manual transmission make it especially appealing if you want a more engaging daily driver, while the cabin is described as comfortable and well finished.

The main trade-offs are that all-wheel drive is not available, fuel economy fell short of the EPA rating, and blind-spot warning is reserved for expensive trims.

With 35.4% of listings priced as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer if you shop carefully.

Is the 2024 Honda Civic Hatchback reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Civic Hatchback is presented as practical, safe, and affordable without feeling basic, and the expert assessment describes Honda Sensing as refined, sophisticated, and accurate. That combination points to a car that should be easy to live with over time, especially if you value a well-rounded compact hatchback.

The turbocharged powertrain and mainstream mechanical layout also suggest straightforward ownership for used buyers, though you should still pay close attention to maintenance history and any signs of hard use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Honda Civic Hatchback?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Sport trim is the value-oriented choice, while the Sport Touring adds more upscale materials, a more sophisticated cabin presentation, and a stronger technology package. The base trim-level gap is most noticeable in the smaller screens and simpler interior presentation.
• Powertrain: In Canada, you get the turbocharged 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine with 180 hp and 177 lb-ft of torque. You can choose a six-speed manual or a CVT with paddle shifters and a Sport driving mode on Sport Touring, while the Sport trim comes only with a CVT.
• Safety package: Honda Sensing is standard and includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, traffic jam assist and low-speed follow capability, automatic high-beam headlights, and traffic sign recognition. Blind-spot monitoring is standard too, but rear cross-traffic alert and front and rear parking sensors with low-speed automatic braking are limited to Sport Touring.
• Infotainment: The Sport trim has a 7-inch digital instrumentation panel and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Sport Touring upgrades you to a 10.2-inch digital display and a 9-inch touchscreen, plus wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, SiriusXM satellite radio, HD Radio, navigation, wireless smartphone charging, and a 12-speaker Bose sound system.
• Fuel efficiency: A manual-transmission Civic Hatchback is expected to average 8.5 L/100 km in city driving, 6.3 on the highway, and 7.5 combined. With the CVT, those figures improve to 7.7 L/100 km city, 6.3 highway, and 7.1 combined.

Which 2024 Honda Civic Hatchback trim should I buy?

The 2024 Honda Civic Hatchback is offered in 2 trim levels: Sport and Sport Touring.

Here's the short version:

• Sport: This is the value-oriented trim, and it gives you the Civic Hatchback’s core strengths without the higher price of the top model. It still gets Honda Sensing and blind-spot monitoring, but the 7-inch screens are basic compared with the upgraded setup in Sport Touring.
• Sport Touring: This is the best-value trim if you want the most complete Civic Hatchback experience. It adds the 10.2-inch digital display, 9-inch touchscreen, wireless smartphone integration, navigation, wireless charging, and the 12-speaker Bose audio system, along with rear cross-traffic alert and parking sensors.

Honda Sensing is standard across the lineup, but rear cross-traffic alert and front and rear parking sensors with low-speed automatic braking are reserved for Sport Touring.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Honda Civic Hatchback?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it makes sense to compare listings carefully and move quickly on strong examples.

• Deal availability: 35.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 65 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.66% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $29,432 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Honda Civic Hatchback's resale value?

The current average of $30,630 CAD sits slightly below last year's $32,469 CAD.

That softer pricing trend can help you as a buyer today, but it also suggests future sellers may need to be realistic about asking prices if the market stays competitive. The Civic Hatchback’s broad appeal, strong safety reputation, and practical hatchback body should help support demand over time.

Because the model is still positioned as a desirable compact car with strong owner satisfaction, it should remain relatively easy to resell compared with less sought-after alternatives. Well-kept examples with the right equipment and clean history are likely to hold buyer interest better than neglected ones.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Honda Civic Hatchback safe?

The 2024 Honda Civic Hatchback earns Good ratings in nearly all IIHS assessments, with an Acceptable result in the updated side-impact test. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration gives it an overall crashworthiness rating of five stars, and it also earned a rare five-star rollover resistance rating.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Honda Sensing is standard and includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, traffic jam assist and low-speed follow capability, automatic high-beam headlights, and traffic sign recognition. Blind-spot monitoring is also standard, but rear cross-traffic alert and front and rear parking sensors with low-speed automatic braking are limited to Sport Touring.

The main safety caveat is the Acceptable IIHS side-impact result, plus the fact that some useful parking and rearward aids are not available on every trim.

Should I buy a 2024 Honda Civic Hatchback or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 35.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.66% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 stands out for its hatchback utility, available manual transmission, and strong safety ratings.

The bottom line: If you want a compact hatchback that balances fun, practicality, and peace of mind, the 2024 is the one to target. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can use the softer market and decent inventory to shop patiently for a well-priced example, but the 2024 remains the best all-round pick if you want the strongest mix of features and driving enjoyment.
