Used 2024 Honda CR-V Hybrid for Sale nearLongueuil, QC

How much does the 2024 Honda CR-V Hybrid cost?

Prices have softened 8.39% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 582 listings available, which suggests healthy inventory for used shoppers.

Is the 2024 Honda CR-V Hybrid a good car?

Generally — the 2024 Honda CR-V Hybrid earns 4.4/5 from owners and a 7/10 expert rating, which points to broad appeal for shoppers who value comfort and practicality. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, and Safety.

Owners repeatedly praise its comfortable ride, fuel efficiency, and useful tech features. They also highlight its value relative to the gas-only version, along with its roomy cabin and everyday usability.

The trade-offs are clear: the expert assessment calls out disappointing fuel economy for a hybrid, plus a high price and a lack of conversational voice recognition. It’s best suited to you if you want a roomy, comfort-first compact crossover rather than something sporty or flashy.

With 30.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, there’s a decent amount of market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2024 Honda CR-V Hybrid reliable?

Owners rate it 4.4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

Drivers describe it as dependable, comfortable, and a vehicle they can count on for everyday use. The owner feedback also points to strong fuel efficiency and a generally trouble-free ownership experience.

The expert assessment reinforces that impression by describing the CR-V Hybrid as easy to drive and well put together, with a powertrain that works transparently in normal use. Honda’s first scheduled maintenance visit is on the house, which helps early ownership costs.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about durability and more about whether the hybrid’s premium pricing and real-world efficiency meet your expectations.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Honda CR-V Hybrid?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The EX-L Hybrid brings the more affordable entry point to the hybrid lineup, while the Touring Hybrid adds a more upscale cabin with leather seats, orange contrast stitching, and a more premium presentation. The base interior is described as relatively basic, so you should compare cabin materials and equipment carefully if you want a more polished feel.
• Powertrain: The hybrid uses a fourth-generation Honda two-motor system with an Atkinson-cycle 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine and two electric motors, and it delivers 204 horsepower to all four wheels. It is described as smooth and transparent in normal driving, though you may notice low-speed EV warning noise and engine droning on hills.
• Safety package: Honda Sensing is standard and includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centring assist, adaptive cruise control, traffic jam assist, a rear seat reminder, automatic high beams, and a driver monitoring system. Blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert is standard on the Hybrid trims, while front and rear parking sensors are also included; low-speed automatic braking control is reserved for the Touring trim.
• Infotainment: You get a 9-inch infotainment display, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, and wireless smartphone charging. The Touring trim adds navigation and a 12-speaker Bose premium audio system, but the voice recognition system is basic rather than conversational.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada estimates 6.4 L/100 km combined, but the expert test vehicle returned 8.7 L/100 km on a mountainous loop. That gap is worth keeping in mind if fuel savings are a priority for you.

Which 2024 Honda CR-V Hybrid trim should I buy?

The 2024 Honda CR-V Hybrid is offered in 2 trim levels: EX-L Hybrid and Touring Hybrid.

Here's the short version:

• EX-L Hybrid: This is the best-value choice if you want the hybrid powertrain at the lower entry price. It gives you the core hybrid setup, standard all-wheel drive, and the main comfort and tech advantages without stepping all the way up to the top trim.
• Touring Hybrid: Choose this if you want the most complete CR-V Hybrid experience, including navigation, the 12-speaker Bose audio system, and low-speed automatic braking control. It suits you best if you want the most premium equipment and are willing to pay for it.

Honda Sensing is standard across the hybrid lineup, while blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert is also standard on the Hybrid trims.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Honda CR-V Hybrid?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to compare listings and wait for the right one.

• Deal availability: 30.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 582 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.39% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $39,579 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Honda CR-V Hybrid's resale value?

The current average of $39,647 CAD sits slightly below last year's $43,279 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you as a buyer today, but it also means future sellers may face a more competitive market if values continue to ease. If you buy at the right price now, you reduce the risk of taking a bigger depreciation hit later.

The CR-V Hybrid’s strong owner satisfaction should help support demand over time. Shoppers tend to respond well to vehicles that are comfortable, practical, and easy to live with, which works in this model’s favour.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Honda CR-V Hybrid safe?

The 2024 Honda CR-V Hybrid earns a Top Safety Pick award from the IIHS, though it does not achieve the Top Safety Pick+ result it earned for 2023 because of a poor rating in the updated moderate overlap front test.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Honda Sensing is standard, and the suite includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centring assist, adaptive cruise control, traffic jam assist, a rear seat reminder, automatic high beams, and a driver monitoring system. Blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert is standard on the Hybrid trims, and front and rear parking sensors are included as well.

The main caveat is the poor IIHS result in the updated moderate overlap front test, which keeps it from the top award level.

Should I buy a 2024 Honda CR-V Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 30.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.39% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• This year adds the EX-L Hybrid trim, which lowers the entry price for the hybrid powertrain.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $37,488 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $39,647 CAD average.
• The 2023 is a single-trim hybrid debut with a more upscale feel and strong standard safety.

The bottom line: If you want the broader 2024 hybrid lineup and a better chance of finding a deal, the 2024 is the stronger all-around pick. If your priority is simply paying less up front, the 2023 can make sense, especially if you find one in good condition and the equipment suits your needs.
