Great value, AWD ,nice lines , great engine compared to the Lincoln Corsair and the fact that the edge engine utilizes a timing CHAIN vs the timing belt and by the way Toyota and Honda both use the timing belt if you do not change the timing belt every 70-80,000 miles it could destroy your engine

How much does the 2024 Ford Edge cost?
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Current Average Price | $30,834 CAD |
| Year-Round Low | $30,834 CAD |
| Year-Round High | $37,689 CAD |
| Average Price a Year Ago | $37,689 CAD |
| Change vs. Last Year | −18.19% |
Prices have softened 18.19% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.
There are 343 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.
Is the 2024 Ford Edge a good car?
Yes — the 2024 Ford Edge earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. That kind of feedback can be a useful sign if you want a used SUV that has already earned positive real-world impressions. The market also shows 32.7% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.
Is the 2024 Ford Edge reliable?
Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.
For used buyers, that kind of owner feedback can reduce some of the uncertainty around long-term ownership risk, especially if the specific vehicle has been maintained well.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Ford Edge?
This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can afford to compare listings carefully rather than rushing.
- Deal availability: 32.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 343 listings available.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 18.19% compared with last year.
If you find a listing below $30,834 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
What is the 2024 Ford Edge's resale value?
The current average of $30,834 CAD sits slightly below last year's $37,689 CAD.
That price movement suggests the model has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can be helpful if you buy now and plan to sell later. If prices stay near this level, future resale value may be steadier than it would be after a sharper drop. A lower entry price can also make it easier to recover a larger share of your purchase cost over time.
Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
Should I buy a 2024 Ford Edge or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2024 if:
- 32.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 18.19% compared with last year.
- Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
The bottom line: The 2024 Ford Edge makes sense if you want a used SUV with strong owner satisfaction and a market that currently offers some negotiating room. If your priority is stretching your budget as far as possible, you may also want to compare nearby model years and focus on whichever one gives you the best combination of price and condition.
