• Inventory: There are 570 listings available.

That softer pricing can work in your favour if you buy now, because you may be starting from a more favourable entry point than a year ago. For a future seller, though, the same price movement suggests there is still some room for depreciation before the market settles. The Corolla’s practical reputation and broad appeal should help support demand, but resale strength will still depend on condition, mileage, and trim.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.3/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Toyota Corolla or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.38% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.3/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $22,295 CAD, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $23,940 CAD average.
• It keeps the Corolla’s familiar practicality and value focus.

The bottom line: If you want the newer model with updated tech and a stronger used-car market snapshot, the 2023 is the better primary choice. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2022 is the sensible secondary path.
