Is the 2023 Toyota Corolla Cross a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for the 2023 Toyota Corolla Cross, and it lines up with what owners keep praising: safety features, reliability, and good value. It also appeals if you want something simple rather than flashy, with a familiar cabin and useful everyday versatility. For shoppers who want a practical small SUV with extra passenger and cargo room, that combination makes a lot of sense. With 29.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop carefully.

Is the 2023 Toyota Corolla Cross reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback repeatedly points to reliability, and many describe it as dependable and a vehicle they feel good about living with over the long term. That kind of praise matters if you want a used SUV you can count on for everyday driving. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about outright failure and more about finding one that has been maintained well and not worn hard.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Toyota Corolla Cross?

This is a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 29.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 183 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.65% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $29,331 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Toyota Corolla Cross's resale value?

The current average of $29,511 CAD sits slightly below last year's $31,956 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy in at a more favourable point, but it also suggests future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays soft. If you plan to sell later, the current trend means you should focus on buying well and keeping the vehicle in strong condition. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Toyota Corolla Cross or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 29.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.65% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $28,787 CAD, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $29,511 CAD average.
• It offers a broader, more established launch-year appeal with strong owner praise for comfort and space.

The bottom line: Choose the 2023 if you want the newer model-year updates and are comfortable paying a bit more for them. If your priority is saving money, the 2022 is the better value play, especially if you find one with the features and condition you want.
