Used 2023 Nissan Rogue for Sale nearGuelph, ON

How much does the 2023 Nissan Rogue cost?

Prices have softened 14.67% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,673 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Nissan Rogue a good car?

Generally — the 2023 Nissan Rogue earns a 4.31/5 user rating and a 6.67/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Look and feel at 8/10.

Owners consistently praise its spacious interior, safety features, fuel economy, comfortable ride, and modern technology. In practical terms, that makes it a strong fit if you want a compact SUV that feels roomy and easy to live with.

The main trade-offs are the uncomfortable back seats and the CVT’s sometimes loud, underpowered character. For shoppers who value comfort, safety, and efficiency over outright driving excitement, the Rogue’s overall package still makes sense.

Only 28.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the market is somewhat selective rather than broadly discounted.

Is the 2023 Nissan Rogue reliable?

Owners rate it 4.31/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a dependable-feeling SUV with a spacious cabin, strong safety features, and good fuel economy. That combination usually matters most when you want a used vehicle you can count on day to day.

The expert drive notes also describe the Rogue as composed and secure in normal driving, which supports the impression of a well-sorted ownership experience. Nissan’s three-year/60,000-kilometre basic warranty and five-year/100,000-kilometre powertrain warranty are not especially generous, so used buyers should pay attention to service history and overall condition.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Nissan Rogue?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base S is the least expensive version, but it misses some of the upscale touches and convenience features found higher up the range. The SV, SL, and Platinum add more comfort and equipment, and the SV also gets the Midnight Edition package for a darker exterior look.
• Powertrain: You’re looking at a 1.5-litre turbocharged three-cylinder engine with a CVT. It is tuned for responsive urban driving and good fuel economy, but it can feel short on passing power and may not suit you if you want stronger highway acceleration.
• Safety package: Safety Shield 360 is standard, and it includes forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, rear automatic braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, and automatic high-beam headlights. Higher trims can add ProPilot Assist with Navi-link, plus surround-view camera, active blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assist, and a driver monitoring system.
• Infotainment: The Rogue uses an older infotainment system with an 8-inch standard touchscreen or available 9-inch touchscreen. Wireless Apple CarPlay is available, while Android Auto is wired. OTA capability is not mentioned.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada says the test vehicle should have returned 7.7 L/100 km in combined driving, and the evaluation loop averaged 8.1 L/100 km.

Which 2023 Nissan Rogue trim should I buy?

The 2023 Nissan Rogue is offered in 4 trim levels: S, SV, SL, and Platinum.

Here's the short version:

• S: This is the entry point, so it makes sense if you want the lowest starting price and are comfortable with a simpler feature set.
• SV: This is the best-value choice for most shoppers because it adds more everyday appeal without pushing you into the highest price brackets. It also serves as the basis for the Midnight Edition package.
• SL: Choose this if you want a more upscale feel and more available technology and convenience features.
• Platinum: This is the most luxurious version, with the richest cabin presentation and the longest list of upscale upgrades.

Higher trim levels can also bring ProPilot Assist with Navi-link, so if that driver-assistance tech matters to you, shop above the lower trims.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Nissan Rogue?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory to compare options carefully.

• Deal availability: 28.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,673 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.67% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $26,385 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Nissan Rogue's resale value?

The current average of $26,385 CAD sits slightly below last year's $30,921 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the Rogue is currently more accessible to used buyers than it was a year ago. For a future seller, that can mean less room for appreciation if the market stays competitive.

At the same time, the Rogue’s broad appeal, strong owner satisfaction, and steady demand in Canada help support long-term interest. If you keep the vehicle in good condition and maintain it properly, it should remain easy to market when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.31/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Nissan Rogue safe?

The 2023 Nissan Rogue earns a Top Safety Pick+ from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) and a five-star overall rating from NHTSA, with four-star ratings for the driver and front passenger in a frontal-impact collision.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Safety Shield 360 is standard, and it includes forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, rear automatic braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, and automatic high-beam headlights. Higher trims can add ProPilot Assist with Navi-link, which combines adaptive cruise control with lane-centring assistance.

One caveat is that updated IIHS testing found weaker results in the small overlap frontal-impact and side-impact tests, where the Rogue earned Marginal and Acceptable scores, respectively.

Should I buy a 2023 Nissan Rogue or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 28.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.67% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.31/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• It adds the SV Midnight Edition package and keeps the Rogue visually fresh.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $22,474 CAD, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $26,385 CAD average.
• It brings the new turbocharged engine and broader trim spread.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $27,336 CAD, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $26,385 CAD average.
• It adds Google built-in apps and a more modern tech experience.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, safety, and everyday comfort, the 2023 is the sensible pick. If your priority is lower upfront cost, the 2022 is the better value path; if you want newer tech, the 2024 is worth the extra money.
