Is the 2023 Nissan Murano a good car?

Yes — 4.8/5 is a strong user rating for a used SUV, and the Murano’s comfort-first character makes sense if you want an easygoing daily driver rather than a sporty one. The cabin is described as more modern and upscale than before, with a cleaner layout and fewer physical controls, plus a strong equipment list that includes a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and standard Nissan Safety Shield 360. It also suits you if you value a refined ride and respectable performance over sharp handling. 30.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Nissan Murano reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2023 Murano’s appeal is built around comfort, a polished cabin, and a traditional automatic transmission that avoids the drone associated with earlier versions. That combination points to a used SUV that should feel familiar and easy to live with if you prioritise smooth everyday driving. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about outright complexity and more about whether the Murano’s comfort-focused packaging and limited cargo space fit your needs over time.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Nissan Murano?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently without assuming every listing is a bargain.

• Deal availability: 30.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 156 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.51% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $30,178 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Nissan Murano's resale value?

The current average of $30,245 CAD sits slightly below last year's $32,351 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the Murano has become more accessible for used buyers, but it also means a future seller may need to price competitively to stand out. If you buy well now, the current market gives you a better entry point than last year’s average. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Nissan Murano or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 30.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.51% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2023 is a smart pick if you want a comfortable, well-equipped Murano at a softer price than last year’s market. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs any differences in equipment or condition.
