Is the 2020 Nissan Murano a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Nissan Murano earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its comfort, smooth ride, and feature content, and many describe it as feeling more upscale than you might expect. That makes it a good fit if you want a relaxed daily driver with a premium-leaning cabin and a comfort-first character. Is the 2020 Nissan Murano reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience, with satisfaction tied to the Murano’s comfort and smooth driving character. For used buyers, the main ownership risk is less about the overall reputation and more about finding one that has been maintained properly over time.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Nissan Murano?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be choosy if you shop carefully.

• Deal availability: 35.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 251 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.20% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $22,423 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Nissan Murano's resale value?

The current average of $22,423 CAD sits slightly below last year's $25,832 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Murano has softened in the used market, which can make it more attractive to buyers now but may also mean future sellers need to price competitively. If you buy at the current average or below, you may have less room for appreciation later. Still, a model with steady owner satisfaction can hold buyer interest better than one with weaker feedback.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Nissan Murano or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 35.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.20% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2020 Murano makes the most sense if you want a comfort-focused midsize SUV with strong owner approval and you can find one priced near the current average or lower. If you are especially price-sensitive, it is also worth comparing nearby model years to see whether a similar Murano offers a better deal for your budget.
