Should I buy a 2021 Mazda MAZDA3 Sport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 42.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.85% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2021 looks like the stronger choice if you want a model year with softer pricing and a decent pool of deal listings. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a lower entry price outweighs the 2021’s current market position.
