Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Mazda MAZDA3 Sport?

This looks like a moderate buyer's market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a standout bargain.

• Deal availability: 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 83 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.39% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $20,306 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Mazda MAZDA3 Sport's resale value?

The current average of $21,296 CAD sits slightly below last year's $22,994 CAD.

That price movement suggests the model has softened enough to give you a more favourable entry point than a year ago. If you buy well now, you may have less downside risk than someone who paid closer to the prior average. For a future seller, that also means resale value will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the car is maintained.

Should I buy a 2020 Mazda MAZDA3 Sport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.39% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2020 is the better fit if you want to shop a year with softer pricing and a decent pool of value-priced listings. If you're especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby model years to see whether a lower entry price outweighs the 2020's current market position.
