Used 2023 Land Rover Range Rover Sport for Sale nearWinnipeg, MB

How much does the 2023 Land Rover Range Rover Sport cost?

Prices have softened 16.74% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 117 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of choice in the used market.

Is the 2023 Land Rover Range Rover Sport a good car?

Yes — you’re looking at a 5/5 user-rated SUV with an expert rating of 6.83/10. The 2023 Range Rover Sport is aimed at buyers who want a luxury SUV with a sportier look and genuine off-road ability, and it delivers strongly on those two fronts. The standout strength is Look and feel at 9/10.

That said, the trade-offs are clear: the handling is underwhelming for the name, the back seat is cramped, and the technology can be frustrating in day-to-day use. If you want a premium SUV for image, presence, and off-pavement confidence, it fits the brief well; if you want the sharpest road manners, you may want to keep shopping.

Only 30.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the market is somewhat selective rather than deeply discounted.

Is the 2023 Land Rover Range Rover Sport reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The 2023 Range Rover Sport is presented as a vehicle with serious capability and a premium feel, but it also asks a lot from its owner in terms of complexity and cost. Its performance hardware and off-road systems are a big part of the appeal, and the model’s engineering is clearly aimed at buyers who value capability as much as comfort.

The powertrain is described as strong and capable, and the SUV’s off-road hardware is a major part of its identity. On the ownership side, the plug-in hybrid version is noted for saving money on gas when kept charged, and Land Rover says over-the-air updates can improve usability over time.

For used buyers, the long-term risk is less about basic competence and more about living with a sophisticated luxury SUV that can be expensive and demanding to maintain.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Land Rover Range Rover Sport?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The design and cabin presentation lean into understated luxury, while the higher-spec versions add more visual drama and equipment. The base setup is more restrained, so you should check whether the features you want are included rather than assuming they come standard.
• Powertrain: The turbocharged 3.0-litre inline six-cylinder engine uses mild-hybrid technology and makes 395 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque. A plug-in hybrid is also available, and it is standard in Autobiography trim.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, automatic high-beam headlights, a driver monitoring system, front and rear parking sensors, a surround-view camera system, and ClearSight Ground View. Remote Park Assist is available.
• Infotainment: You get a 13.7-inch digital instrument display and a 13.1-inch touchscreen. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, along with Amazon Alexa compatibility and connected services.
• Fuel efficiency: Official Canadian fuel-consumption figures are not stated here, but the evaluation route returned 10.5 L/100 km, and a suburban highway drive returned 9.4 L/100 km.

Which 2023 Land Rover Range Rover Sport trim should I buy?

The 2023 Land Rover Range Rover Sport is offered in 4 trim levels: Dynamic SE, Dynamic HSE, Autobiography, and SV Edition One.

Here's the short version:

• Dynamic SE: This is the entry point and the best-value choice if you want the Range Rover Sport experience without stretching into the pricier trims. It gives you the core design, the strong inline-six powertrain, and the off-road hardware that defines the model.
• Dynamic HSE: Choose this if you want a more upscale version of the same basic formula and are willing to pay for additional equipment and a richer feel.
• Autobiography: This is the trim to target if you want the plug-in hybrid powertrain, which is the most efficiency-focused option in the lineup and the one that can save you money on gas if you keep it charged.
• SV Edition One: This is the performance-oriented, sold-out launch model, and it sits at the top of the range with the most exclusive positioning.

The safety package is broad across the lineup, but you should still confirm exactly which driver-assistance features are included on the trim you’re considering.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Land Rover Range Rover Sport?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have some room to shop carefully rather than rushing.

• Deal availability: 30.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 117 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.74% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $79,002 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Land Rover Range Rover Sport's resale value?

The current average of $79,002 CAD sits slightly below last year's $94,886 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the model more approachable for used buyers today. For a future seller, it also means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle is equipped. Well-kept examples with desirable equipment should hold buyer interest better than neglected ones, especially given the model’s premium positioning.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Land Rover Range Rover Sport safe?

The 2023 Land Rover Range Rover Sport earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Land Rover installs a wide set of driver-assistance features, including forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, automatic high-beam headlights, a driver monitoring system, front and rear parking sensors, and a surround-view camera system with ClearSight Ground View. Wade Sensing is standard as well, which is especially useful for off-road water crossings.

Remote Park Assist is available, and the adaptive cruise control with steering assist is meant to help centre the SUV in its lane. In practice, the steering assist is described as less trustworthy than expected, and the adaptive cruise control can be slow to respond when traffic clears ahead.

Should I buy a 2023 Land Rover Range Rover Sport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 30.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.74% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It stands out for stylish design and excellent off-road capability, even if its road manners and tech are less convincing.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of style, luxury presence, and real off-road ability, the 2023 is the one to focus on. If you’re more price-sensitive, the softer pricing and decent inventory make it worth shopping carefully for a well-equipped example rather than paying top dollar for the first one you see.
