Used 2023 Jeep Cherokee for Sale nearToronto, ON

How much does the 2023 Jeep Cherokee cost?

Prices have softened 16.10% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 184 listings available, which suggests a modest amount of inventory for shoppers comparing prices.

Is the 2023 Jeep Cherokee a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Jeep Cherokee earns a 4.5/5 user rating, which supports its appeal as a compact SUV that still leans into Jeep’s identity. Its final-year lineup is simpler than earlier versions, and it remains one of the more distinctive-looking choices in its class. For you, that means a used Cherokee can make sense if you want everyday usability with available capability and a recognisable badge. The market also shows 37.5% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Jeep Cherokee reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2023 Cherokee benefits from features that make it easier to live with than earlier versions of the same generation, including standard smartphone integration and a standard 8.4-inch touchscreen on all trims. At the same time, the broader generation has a history of transmission issues, poor efficiency, and some bad engines through the years, so a careful used-car inspection still matters. For long-term ownership, your main risk is buying a neglected example with a rough service history or unresolved mechanical concerns.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Jeep Cherokee?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 37.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 184 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.10% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $31,394 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Jeep Cherokee's resale value?

The current average of $31,394 CAD sits slightly below last year's $37,417 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Cherokee has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help future sellers if the market stabilises. If you buy at the right price now, you may have less downside left than a buyer who paid closer to last year’s average. The model’s distinctive styling and Jeep branding can also help keep it relevant with used shoppers who want something less conventional.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Jeep Cherokee or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 37.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.10% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the simplest version of this generation with updated in-cabin tech and a more distinctive Jeep character, the 2023 is the one to target. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a nearby model year may be worth considering, but the 2023 stands out if you can find one priced near the lower end of the range.
