Used 2023 Jeep Cherokee for Sale nearMississauga, ON

How much does the 2023 Jeep Cherokee cost?

Prices have softened 15.78% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 177 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Jeep Cherokee a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Jeep Cherokee earns a 4.5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner approval. It stands out as a compact SUV that still leans into Jeep’s identity, with a distinctive look and a simpler two-trim lineup that makes shopping more straightforward. For you, that means a used Cherokee can make sense if you want everyday usability with available capability and a recognisable badge. There are 36.7% of listings priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Jeep Cherokee reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2023 Cherokee benefits from a more mature version of this generation, with standard smartphone integration and a larger touchscreen that make it easier to live with than earlier examples. At the same time, the model’s history includes transmission issues in earlier years, along with poor efficiency and some bad engines through the years, so a careful inspection still matters. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is ending up with a poorly maintained example that has been exposed to the generation’s known mechanical weaknesses.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Jeep Cherokee?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can afford to compare listings carefully before committing.

• Deal availability: 36.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 177 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.78% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $31,367 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Jeep Cherokee's resale value?

The current average of $31,394 CAD sits slightly below last year's $37,274 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more confidently today but may also limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you own one for a few years, the Cherokee’s value will likely depend on condition, mileage, and how well it has been maintained. Because the model still has a distinct identity and broad appeal to Jeep shoppers, a clean example should remain easier to market than a more ordinary compact SUV.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Jeep Cherokee or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 36.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.78% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2023 Cherokee is the better pick if you want the simplest version of this generation with a strong feature set and a market that has become more buyer-friendly. If your priority is stretching your budget, a nearby year may offer a lower entry price, but the 2023 is the cleaner choice when you want a more current used Cherokee with solid owner approval and decent deal availability.
