Used 2023 Jeep Cherokee for Sale nearHamilton, ON

How much does the 2023 Jeep Cherokee cost?

Prices have softened 15.49% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 181 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Jeep Cherokee a good car?

Yes — 4.5/5 is a strong user rating for the 2023 Jeep Cherokee, and its appeal comes from a mix of everyday usability and available capability. You get a compact SUV that still leans into Jeep identity, with a distinctive look, a simpler two-trim lineup, and features that make it easier to live with than earlier versions of the same generation. It also suits you if you want available all-weather traction and a recognisable badge without moving into a larger SUV.

With 36.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2023 Jeep Cherokee reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2023 Cherokee benefits from later-generation updates that improved day-to-day usability, including standard smartphone integration and a larger touchscreen on all trims. At the same time, this generation was known for major transmission issues in its early years, along with poor efficiency and some bad engines through the years, so you should still approach a used example with care.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a neglected example could carry forward the durability concerns associated with this generation.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Jeep Cherokee?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 36.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 181 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.49% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $31,388 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Jeep Cherokee's resale value?

The current average of $31,388 CAD sits slightly below last year's $37,141 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Cherokee has become more accessible for buyers, but it also means a future seller may face a softer market than before. If you buy at today’s average, your resale position will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained. A well-kept example should still have appeal because it remains a distinctive compact SUV with Jeep branding and usable capability.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Jeep Cherokee or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 36.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.49% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2023 if you want the simplest version of this generation with later updates, a distinctive design, and a used price that has come down meaningfully. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby model year may be worth comparing, but the 2023 is the cleaner choice if you want the final-year Cherokee with a strong mix of usability and available capability.
